Jan 19, 2025Sun sand sun pool beach great! Food Entertainment atmosphere in the evenings Terrible
Riu resorts were our go to pick for years for there dependability each year they have declined to the point after this trip never again The entire staff were worse than not being friendly they acted like they we’re doing you a favor when not just being mean The most scary part a gentleman had a medical emergency I contacted. The lifeguard he had no clue what to no nurse available. I called an ambulance in a foreign country. Thank God the man survived. If it was an issue of a response time he never would’ve. Please take my advice and go elsewhere

This is a very nice hotel with something for everyone. The food & entertainment is first class and I'm glad REAL JAMAICAN food is readily available. Now, I am talking to you, this is JAMAICA you are a guest you don't own the beach or anything else be polite and share the space. This is my 8 visit and still loving it. Lovely Hotel

Birthday Trip
I have an amazing experience in Jamaica as well as our stay at the Riu Montego Bay was top tier i would recommend friends and family here the food could be better but besides the food. The service, people and environment was all wonderful and I can wait to return January 2026 might be destination for my birthday shenanigans. Thank yewww Riu Montego Bay and Jamaica you owe me nothing muah.

Jan 19, 2025Great hotel however let down by rude staff
First things first the staff are insanely rude, especially the reception staff and the bar staff are not interested in being nice or serving you unless you are tipping them. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, the place is clean, food is really good and the entertainment team are phenomenal. As a couple in our 20’s this hotel was great fun however if you’re not into partying or loud music I wouldn’t recommend it.

The most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered! So rude unless you tip them ! Food choices are beet far and few! Hard to get reservations . Never left coffee in the room . We had to call all the time for service ! No cocktail service at the pools or beach ! We will never go back
