The Beach was amazing & we always had a beach chair with a beautiful ocean view & breeze! NELLY in the buffet for breakfast was the sweetest! The food was ok & needs improvement! The resort is beautiful & SO very clean & well maintained! Go to Isla Mujeres for an excursion!

WOW! The Riu Latino is absolutely amazing. Every person working there should get a gold star! The rooms were immaculate, the food offerings changed daily, and the drinks kept flowing. One thing that stood out was the immaculate attention to the upkeep. There was never trash anywhere, the crew was always working to make it look beautiful, and the overall vibe was so inviting. We will be returning and letting everyone know about this place!

Highly Recommend!
We had a great time here! The resort was spacious without feeling too big and far apart! There was always a chair available at the pool or beach and all of the staff were so kind! Nely at the Moctezuma restaurant (buffet) was by far our favorite staff member! My husband didn’t feel well for a couple days on our trip and she took great care of him! She was our resort mom! We booked an excursion with the Amstar representative on site (at the theater) and they were also extremely helpful and we enjoyed our trip to Isla Mujeres! The resort was extremely well kept and clean and if you needed anything (towels, water, blankets etc) you will receive them so quickly! Overall we really enjoyed this resort!

The BEST spot for our QUINKS vacation!
The resort was very clean and well kept. Service was always fantastic and hotel staff were quick to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. Nely, at the buffet, was the sweetest. We returned daily specifically for her service! As far as party resorts go, this one was pretty mellow but it was exactly what we were hoping for!

Amazing resort, awesome people, great food!
Hotel was amazing. Exceptionally clean and the staff was outstanding especially Lisandro. I unfortunately lost my phone on the shuttle from the airport. Sunwing representatives were f no help. Took a report and would not give me a number to call. Lisandro went above and beyond, trying to call for me and follow-up. He and I followed up daily. Unfortunately, I never did get my phone back. Food was over the top. Steakhouse was amazing. That's the only specialty restaurant we attended because the buffet was so amazing we didn't feel we needed anything else. The pools were excellent and well maintained. The beach was clean and very safe. The addition of the waterside park in an adult only resort was interesting. We had a blast!! I highly recommend this location
