Being an RIU hotel you get a high standard & this hotel is no exception! Fantastic atmosphere, the friendliest of staff nothing any trouble,the food was fantastic, always something different, lots of seating, plates cleared quickly. Plenty of seating in the bar, drinks served with a smile, rooms cleaned everyday. The hotel and local area is popular with German tourists, so if you're looking for an English pub, with a Sunday roast, this is not the place for you, however if you're looking for a alternative choice of foods, then you'll enjoy the surrounding as we did! Thank you RIU Festival, we had an awesome time..We will be back!

Overbooked
Arrived at the hotel late evening to be told we were being upgraded to the Riu San Fransisco hotel on a full board basis instead of half board and a taxi would take us there. I enquired if we didn't prefer this hotel could we come back and was told there had been a flood and 4 rooms were out of use so there was nothing available that night. When we arrived at the Riu San Fransisco it was in a very busy and noisy German area full of party goers in the streets and a down grade to the Hotel Festival. Not the area or hotel we had chosen from Trip Advisor reviews. I understand this hotel is overbooked on a regular basis. We complained and were moved back to the Riu Festival the next morning after breakfast, but this was not a good start to our holiday. The Hotel is very nice great food with a terrace to eat outside if you prefer, and the entertainment was very good. The pool is mainly in the shade from trees, but the beach is a short walk away and very nice you can walk for miles and find a quite spot which we did every day.

Everything was perfect, definitely recommended.
Great location 5⭐️ Food was so fresh and nice 5⭐️ Staff was friendly and helpful 5⭐️ Room very clean and peaceful, bed was very comfy 5⭐️ Restaurants and bars around are very nice and they have fabulous atmosphere. Definitely recommended, I don’t have any negative point.
