The impressive Riu Caribe, with its Mayan-style architecture overlooking the crystal-blue waters of the Mexican Caribbean, is the perfect site for a fantastic vacation. Riu Caribe features 506 luxurious ocean-view guestrooms with unique RIU amenities such as a mini-bar and liquor dispenser.
The 24-hour all-inclusive feature includes a wide array of restaurants, bars, snacks, and beverages, as well as a fun and relaxing atmosphere created by the large swimming pool and a spectacular beach. Facilities include two freshwater swimming pools, a diving pool, a solarium-terrace, a gym, sauna, a steam bath, Jacuzzi, and the Renova Spa. Complimentary 24-hour WiFi is also available in the common areas of the resort (available in rooms for an additional charge).
All meals and snacks are included at Riu Caribe. A hot and cold buffet is served for lunch as well as pizzas, pasta, salads, and assorted desserts. Dinners include buffets and dishes prepared on the spot with a theme buffet twice a week. àla carte choices include Mexican, Asian, and a Grill and Steakhouse. Each room boasts a minibar and liquor dispenser that is replenished regularly.
The fun, exciting atmosphere of Cancun is just steps away. There is also a plethora of activities in-resort. Daytime activities include table tennis, volleyball, windsurfing, catamaran, snorkeling, and more. At night there are shows, live music, and the Pacha discotheque. The sports bar is open 24-hours!
Greening Your Life: Part of the Apple Vacations Greening Your Life initiative, this property has implemented a sustainability system that has met criteria and has been approved by Travelife. All 10 Riu hotels in Cancun and Riviera Maya, Including Riu Caribe, have obtained a Travelife rating of Gold. This is the highest rating in the Travelife Sustainability System implantation.
Aside from the use of biodegradable cleaning products, the resort uses environmentally-friendly fabrics and recycles organic waste to generate compost conditions. A waste management plan has also been approved by local authorities. This includes replacing small, one-portion packages with bulk products to create less waste and use less trash bags, and appointing a hazardous waste manager who is in charge of collecting printer, toner, and photocopiers. Vegetable oil is also recycled and reused.
An awareness campaign has been started by placing posters of good environmental practices in different areas of the hotel. A Green Book has also been developed, where guests are invited to participate in caring for the environment through the development of sustainable activities.

Spring Break Policies -
1. Student / Spring Breaker Groups (21 years of age or older) will be accepted ONLY at Riu Cancun & Riu Caribe.
2. All Student / Spring Breaker Group reservations are strictly On Request and will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the corresponding Destination Sales Department. RIU Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of admission and may reject any request at its sole discretion.
3. If a Student / Spring Breaker Group is accepted:
a. The number of rooms will be deducted from the contracted allotments
b. Minimum Age requirement: 21 years of age or older.
c. The Hotel may request proof of age in the form of passport or official ID
d. Each room must submit a signed liability agreement upon check-in.
4. At all other RIU properties Student Groups / Spring Breakers (either groups or individuals, regardless of age) are not allowed at any time during the year.
5. Guests disturbing or generating complaints from other guests or hotel may be removed from the property, at their own expense.

6. Student / Spring Breaker Groups must comply with any protocols (hotel and government) in place at the time of stay at the hotel.

RIU Caribe
Great accommodations. Back of facility is on the beach with plenty of palm trees for shade. Food and bar service was excellent. Restaurants were top rate.

Great Time with My Boys for the Bachelor Trip, Any lil snags at the Resort were taken care of so Fast and with utmost professionalism, this is our second time staying at a RIU cancun and we will definitely be making this a a yearly trip

Loved the place just been above 40 didn’t realise it was a party hotel , but loved the place 1000%
Wow this hotel is just simply fantastic amazing and the wow factor, restaurants food staff all over the place is is excellent and fantastic, Now the only part I didn’t realise is this hotel is a party hotel and something like a 18-30’s 😢😢, the hotel went quiet after 11pm but during the day was loud and very busy , the staff from reception to maintenance to cleaning staff were fantastic and a credit to the hotel , would visit a Riu again but probably not this one

Mexico Vacay w/Friends
RIU Caribe - food at the buffet was really good, had no problem finding something we liked, never ate at one of the restaurants. Drinks were good. Enjoyed the beautiful pools, however they are crowded. The beach was splendid, plenty of chairs to accommodate everyone. Room and view was spectacular, clean, and stocked. Needed more pillows. RIU pool parties are fun, but again overcrowded. Grounds were so pretty. Something I didn't like is that we did not book directly throuh RIU and were not allowed to use their shuttle to airport, had to call for our own transportaion. All in all a nice stay and I would recommend it. Especially geared toward18 to 35 crowd.
