Apr 24, 2025Good hotel. Prices have risen!
Overall a good hotel for families. Check-in is very slow, and a lottery if asking for adjoining rooms. No AI room service. No 'outside' breakfast restaurant. (We love eating outside). Showers in room excellent. Beach was very large, lots of sunbeds. Beach was however, seaweeded, and was cleaned daily - but the 'workers' seemed lackadaisical and didn't really clean up the seaweed totally. (Left quite a bit at water's edge after shovelling). Restaurants OK. Buffet was best in our opinion. Food generally very good which is normal for Riu hotels. We enjoyed the stay. Entertainment team OK,. Staff always worked hard and kept the hotel very clean.

I was very disappointed with this hotel as a five star rated hotel was lacking in several areas. Entertainment 5 nights a week was pool foam parties mainly for teenagers open to all staying in Cancun Riu hotels. Definitely mot suitable for most adults but advertised as nightly entertainment. The other nights the shows were great.

Another excellent RIU hotel, situated on a beautiful beach but away from the main 'hotel zone' and nightclub area of the peninsula means a peaceful and relaxing stay. The staff were perfect, always friendly and attentive, the front desk staff were always quick to answer questions or provide assistance. The only slight drawback was that the main hotel bar is in the lobby so there is a lot of people moving through the area in the evening which doesn't make it very quiet or relaxing. Otherwise a fantastic hotel, rooms are very well equipped, plenty of pools, fantastic laundry service, excellent restaurants, beautiful private beach area.

Great place to stay!
Had a blast at the all inclusive hotel with my friends celebrating my bachelorette! The food, hotel, and excursions were great! Sleeping is one thing, there was a couple of rowdy neighbors but all on all, would recommend!

Fun couples retreat.
Great experience second time at this Resort. A mixture of all age groups so no one felt out of place. Very laid back atmosphere. Service was Top Notch and the theme parties were fun.
