    THE BEST !

Quite literally no complaints! Our stay at Riu Caribe this past March (2025) was outstanding from start to finish! Resort is CLEAN. Staff is friendly and accomodating. We felt safe. Daily activities and engagement available. Enough food options, all quality in taste and fresh. 10/10 recommend on all fronts.

I had an Amazing time but…

My stay at Riu Caribe was great in many ways. The staff was friendly, the themed parties were lively, and the hotel was one of the cleanest I’ve ever visited. I constantly saw staff doing detailed cleaning that I rarely see elsewhere. However, a few areas of improvement would keep me from returning. The food was hit-or-miss. While options were plentiful, quality and flavor was inconsistent. Some of the food was excellent, but others, including simple items like pancakes, were mediocre. Desserts were the biggest letdown, all tasting car exhaust or motor oil, likely due to cheap ingredients. The food felt designed to satisfy guests but not make them crave more. Cutting down the number of options and focusing on quality would make a big difference. The unlimited alcohol was nice, but the selection was underwhelming, with only one generic brand for each type of alcohol (beer, wine, gin, etc). Like the food, it felt like a bare minimum effort rather than something meant to enhance the experience. Offering a few popular choices would be a major upgrade. Doesn’t even have to be top shelf options, having Titos or Corona would been great. The parties were fun but repetitive, and the beach and pools, while enjoyable, eventually got old. More activities, like a game room or basketball court, would help break up the monotony. I had a fun few days at Riu Caribe, but I wouldn’t return. The mix of inconsistent food, limited drink options, and repetitive entertainment would make the experience feel average upon a second return. If the resort prioritized quality over quantity, it could be a standout destination.

    Violence

We was having a good time in the lobby in front of the bar and a group of guys came to us to say things and started problems. Not enough security, first time going to Mexico and people came to us to look for problems we was hit and they ran away there was not enough security.
