Riu Cancun was a great experience. All of my friends enjoyed themselves and the service from all of the workers was exceptional. I highly recommend this resort.

Riu Cancun--great place
I highly recommend this hotel. The food is great, the selection and quality exceeded my highest expectations. The service is excellent. The staff are attentive, polite and even if you don't tip them they still will serve you with a smile....but tip them.....that's an important part of their income. This is a large facility. Beach is beautiful, cleaned daily, maintenance is always cleaning and keeping the place pristine. We had a problem with the in room safe and they fixed it right away. Likewise, we had a problem with only luke warm water in the shower....fixed right away. The price point is below what you would expect for the overall quality. You won't be disappointed. Just keep in mind, this caters to adults only and it is a young crowd. It's a party atmosphere by the main pool, lots of young people drinking and having a great time. If you want a super quiet atmosphere, this isn't it. My wife and I found the quiet side of the resort...has it's own pool and bar.....but we don't mind the party atmosphere even if we're not young. It's a vacation after all.

Highly recommended
Absolutely excellent. Hotel is lovely. Good choice of restaurants but difficult to get into steak restaurant. Staff were ok..ish.. older man on door of Italian restaurant was simply rude. Good choice of food at each meal. The beach is truly beautiful. No sellers hassling tourists. Hotel is in a great location..a short distance away from chaos at very top of hotel zone. Will definitely return.

Another Amazing Visit !!!
This hotel is amazing and you can't beat the location. Loads of amenities at your finger tips, amazing and attentive staff - Shout out to Maggie @ Lobby Bar & Havier at Corner Bar. And Adrianna from the A la Cartes - you guys went above and beyond !! Clean rooms, great food, all the staff are amazing. Huge thanks to Renova for the gift basket and shout out to all the staff - Especially Wendy 😊. The staff always makes the stay here better.

Fantastic stay
Absolutely loved our stay at the Riu Cancun the hotel was lovely and all the staff were brilliant and very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us
