It is a good hotel. Very comfortable, clean, big spacious bedrooms, and excellent common rooms. The food is good and plentiful with lots of choice. There are 4 pools, neither are heated but surprisingly warm except for the infinity pool which is cooler. Entertainment is ok. I did see some reviews complaining about the food but which is strange because the food is very good in this hotel.

Really nice hotel but sadly noravirus is in the south of the island and we got ill with diarrhoea and vomiting and fever as with a lot of others. Really good food though and entertainment but if you're coming for a quieter break the rooms are very noisy sometimes until midnight so request a quiet room. Despite being very unwell for 24hrs we've enjoyed it here

Great holiday
My partner and I had a fantastic holiday. Cannot fault this hotel. The food was nice. The place is spotless there is always staff everywhere cleaning. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The Friday night party’s are amazing good fun for all ages. Only downfall is the alcohol isn’t that good.

RIU Buenavista
Everything was perfect we had an amazing stay with perfect location within walking distance of everything we wanted shops to the left and right of the hotel

Sensational hotel and staff...
We had a 10 night stay in January and everything was fantastic started with a swift check in when we arrived to go to a very comfortable clean room all the staff were very polite and helpful, the food was very good the buffet restaurant always had plenty of meal options for breakfast, lunch and evening meals, the grill restaurant was good as was the Asian but our favourite was the Italian the food was excellent and all were easy to book through the Riu app the entertainment was also good they have a party every Friday the entertainment staff work tirelessly all day everyday as do the dining, cleaning, gardening, housekeeping and reception staff everyone was very first class we enjoyed it so much we are looking to go back in 2026 well done Riu another first rate hotel.
