Apr 08, 2025Pacifica wedding and other general observations by repeat guests
We recently hosted our wedding at Pacifica, and it exceeded expectations! We have visited Pacifica three times over the past three years, and we continue to be impressed by the warmth and hospitality of this resort and its employees. From a wedding venue perspective, Pacifica was perfect for our 50-person group, and Brenda Gutierrez (our wedding coordinator) was attentive to all of our planning needs and executed everything masterfully. It was truly a dream wedding, including four days of events (welcome reception with mariachi band, bonfire with a pizza station, and a beach wedding with reception and fireworks, and a Sunday brunch with our guests). With respect to the resort itself, it is ideal for a low-key romantic getaway. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the food is an order of magnitude better than other all-inclusives we have visited. Folks should note that the beach is not swimmable, but that is more than compensated for by the majestic whale watching and pool with ocean views and plenty of seating. Folks should also note that it is not a party scene - After supper, you can hang by the tequila bar, which sometimes has a dj or live band that wraps up early, or sit and enjoy the firepits. We usually wake up early to make full use of the well equipped fitness center. If you're looking for a swimmable beach and a party, you can always make your way to Pueblo Bonito's other nearby properties (which have reciprocity and a complimentary shuttle). Each time we have stayed at Pacifica, we have stayed in "the Towers," which provides butler service, a beautiful VIP lounge, and upgraded liquer selection (among other perks). Our experience with the butlers has been excellent - they make sure you want for nothing and are super helpful in making reservations / special accommodations. During each of our three visits, we have been fortunate enough to have Hannia as one of our butlers. Hannia deserves a special mention as she is an absolute Rockstar and a delight to work with. On our wedding night, she took special care to decorate our room before we returned, including a very thoughtful gift of a framed picture of us from our first visit years ago. While the property and food are excellent, it is truly the employees that make Pacifica so special. Aside from Brenda and Hannia, a few others that have made our stays so special include; Dolce (bulter), Johnathan (butler), Isaias (VIP lounge attendant), Amanda (pool concierge), Miguel Rodriguez (Siempre restaurant manager), and several others whose names escape me. In terms of food, we were particularly impressed by the Sunday Brunch at Siempre and the consistently extraordinary dining at Peninsula (get the Loreto clam dish and the Pozole!!!). It is also worth calling out the quality of the massage therapists at the spa. My only recommendation for resort is to upgrade the glasses / cups it serves cocktails in. The cafeteria style cups by the pool, the tequila bar and other areas do a disservice to the otherwise flawless exection. Even if it's just upgraded plastic / drink appropriate glasses, that would improve the experience. Also, keep up on the physical maintenance - nothing major noted but some general age/wearing observed. This place is such a gem, want to make sure it stays that way for many years to come! Book the trip
Place is immaculate - staff is constantly cleaning and making sure everything is neat & tidy. Service is spot on. Marcus at Siempra restaurant did an excellent job - very attentive, funny and had great recommendations. Room was comfortable and clean.

Best Beach Dinner
Martin was the best server, he made us laugh and was so efficient. We had the best time and made us feel so special. The food was fabulous. Course after course the food continued to amaze us. It was the best way to bring in year 27. Would recommend to anyone.

Best all inclusive stay ever!
My wife and I travel to Mexico and this was one of the best vacations ever. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. The service and attention to detail was second to none. Our butlers, Gabriel and Dulce were very helpful with our day to day activities. We absolutely loved the breakfast service provided by Florinda, Anna and Itzell. The pool service was also great and we rarely had to wait. All were very personable. We would highly recommend and planning on going back soon.

Every year for our works Platinum Club us and our spouse go on a 4-day trip. This place has gotta be one of the worst overall. Food is good, drinks are good. Come here if you want to hear and feel 35 mph winds whipping you at all times. Come if you want no coffee shop, dessert shop Come if you want ZERO nightlife. Like at all. After dinner, that's a wrap, go to the room. Come here if you don't wanna go to the beach Come if you don't wanna get in the water Pool stays about 55 degrees even in APRIL. NOBODY in the pool. ???? I guess there just needs to be a little more onsite. Also, rooms are outdated, old. Hard bed, crap shower head, old looking tiny bathroom, we only found 2 working outlets in the room to charge anything, none by bed. No USB or anything. All oldschool.
