May 03, 2025Playa Los Arcos Resort, PV - Mediocre at Best
This was rated as a 4 star resort, with our room being listed as standard superior. First the good: Buffet was above average, drinks were good. Location was convenient to beach, shops and restaurants. The not so good: Room was "Motel Six" quality. As a former business traveler, who has stayed in hundreds of hotels, and 4 different resorts in PV, I can honestly say this is the noisiest property I've ever stayed at. We were in a street side room, but the door and windows were in poor condition and allowed all hotel and outside noises to enter. Service was inconsistent, with certain staff being helpful, others being indifferent. Housekeeping seemed to be adequate. We did always tip our wait staff, but did notice others did not. Rooms were also inconsistent, with two of our four couples receiving better rooms than the other two, though they were all the same class, but all were different sizes and configurations. Overall, I know there are better resorts for the price. We did enjoy the Romantic Zone locale, but should have had better accommodations for what we paid. Total grade: C-

Excellent atmosphere at the hotel, superb guest service. Good value for money. Excellent food in quality and quantity. Good service from Captain Waiters Maury and Ricardo, very attentive and friendly. Excellent location of the hotel in the romantic area very close to the seawall

Excellent service, very rich drinks and excellent customer service, super recommended The rooms very clean and nice, No doubt I would stay at this hotel again I would recommend that the bar be in the pool only

Excellent atmosphere and Alexander attended us excellent , the waitress fabulous, great drinks, if I would go back to the hotel for the care provided, I would bring my whole family to the hotel as it is more family mode. I would appreciate it if there were a smoking area and a pool bar.

Affordable & easy stay
Playa los Arcos was a great place to spend a few nights and get some sunshine! The staff are friendly, organized and there for whatever you need. Damien and Alfredo at the front counter, and Ricardo in the restaurant took amazing care of me and my friend during our stay. We got the all-inclusive package and appreciated how easy it was to just relax and have everything taken care of so we could snack, drink and lay around! A couple of things to note - this is not a private beach, so a lot of vendors do come by along the pathway and beach. It can get old. You are also in the middle of a busy block, so we heard some construction and music nearby. Room amenities were a little basic, so bring your own shampoo/conditioner if you prefer better quality. I personally don't care about these things much, but if you like absolute quiet and privacy this place might not be for you. That all said, we felt very safe in the area despite being busy.
