    Excellent staff but sorely in need of modernization.

    The 5 stars only for the Club lounge experience. It was phenomenal BECAUSE of Roberto! He was a pure joy and every evening we hoped he would be on duty because he made sure everything ran smoothly and ensured all guests had what they needed. He went above and beyond and is an exemplary representative of Marriott and what hospitality means. The hotel is a 2 because to say it needs an overall is an understatement. It needs a MAJOR overhaul and updating. It is beyond old and beyond referring to it is “dated”. The showers don’t drain, the rooms smell Musty, the restaurant is beyond old. Marriott PLEASE update this hotel and put some money back into it. It deserves it and the staff should feel proud to work here.

    Great stay!

    Enjoyed a wonderful stay! Dylan and Valerie in the concierge were particularly helpful in finding places to dine when needed last minute. They were quick to take care of any additional needs I had while there for a long weekend. Only downside to the hotel is that the rooms were extremely warm, but opening the window helped significantly. Overall, highly recommend.

    An Amazing Hotel - Highly Recommend!

    This is a terrific hotel, in a great location, in one of the most beautiful cities in the world. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff attentive to our every need. There is an extremely well-run Club M on the top floor serving each day a scrumptious breakfast and a delicious evening semi-meal. The Club M staff is exceptional led by Guest Relations chief, Ms. Valerie, and her devoted staff, Roberto, Cherrone and Sarah, just to name a few. Master Chef Emmanuel is a wonder. Highest recommendation.

    Great sens of hospitality

    We loved the staff service in general, especially the staff at the breakfast restaurant. Mr Mamadou, Mr Diaguily, Ms Alexia and Ms Maimouna. Such a great people with big hearts and great sense of hospitality. We will definitely come back again just to meet this wonderful people.

    Great hotel in an excellent location.

    Wonderful visit in a beautiful location. Truly enjoyed the Executive Lounge for breakfast and evening snacks/wine. Great vibe with an incredible view. Valerie, the executive hostess, and the Lounge, was delightful. She is a wonderful representative for the Marriott Brand. All in all, an excellent stay.
