We had the best time at El Dorado Maroma! The food was amazing and the staff were super attentive. The views from the beach and our honeymoon suite were so beautiful. We’ll miss our new friends, Osvaldo, Alex, Jerik, Marco, Kevin, and Cris. Thanks so much for making our trip a blast!

Expectations were high, yet exceeded! Welcome to paradise!
Had the absolute best time! This place and their staff is perfection. After spending a week here, their perfect rating on TripAdvisor is no mystery, rather I can vouch for it being well earned and justified. Shout out to our amazing butlers, Liz & Fernanda, bellhop Alberto, the waitstaff, housekeeping and support staff…all passionate about making sure we enjoyed our stay; not to mention friendly, attentive and fun. No detail was ever overlooked. We stayed in an Elite Overwater Bungalow facing the ocean and it was an experience we won’t ever forget. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise everyday, breakfast on the deck, the glass floors, the outdoor shower, jacuzzi, plunge pool, sun deck and easy access to a dip or swim in the ocean made our bungalow the spot I’ll be drifting off to in a daydream while I’m back in the throes of winter in Wisconsin. The food…Palafitos Restaurant was pure excellence and the presentation was art. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Taqueria and Gelato stand as a great lunch and treat combo. The nightly music at the Palafitos restaurant further raised the dining experience and the entertainment at the main resort was a treat as well (we attended the Fire Show and Mexican Fiesta). As part of their “more inclusive” program, we enjoyed a tour guided jet ski ride, a catamaran/snorkel outing where I was fortunate enough to spot a sea turtle and time spent at the Maroma Beach Club. Overall, it was a first-class experience and something we came home motivated to do whatever it takes to come back again soon! It is truly a unique and special place. Thank you Palafitos and staff!

Amazing!
Amazing for the most part. Alberto, Rafael at the beach - Jan and Daniel our butlers were amazing! Only issue was timing on room service - on 2 or three of our meals waiting up to an hour an half for dinner. Otherwise perfection! Exclusivity and grounds were second to none

The staff at Maroma are the STARS of the show!
We have been coming to Maroma for 6 years and it’s our 2nd home. The beach is amazing, the food is outstanding…but the real standout is the staff. They go above and beyond to bring joy to their guests. The activities team was so fun! Osvaldo gave us a personal Spanish lesson and tested it each day! Jerik taught me to salsa and the rest of the team was always facilitating fun! Manuel on the beach, making sure we had shade whenever we needed it and Karen delivering drinks with a smile. Agustin, who did a fantastic tequila pairing and organized a very special dinner in the wine cellar… you always make our trips over the top!! Beautiful Dory made that special dinner even more special with her outstanding service with her gorgeous smile and sweet heart. The other waiters, bartenders and other staff members were always excellent…including Juliet who appeared as my angel when I took a little (minor) fall and was completely embarrassed! You. We had Alex and Enrique as butlers, checking in each day to be sure we had what we needed. Thank you, Maroma!! We will be back soon!

Exceptional Service
Best vacation ever. Everything was perfect. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. I would like to specifically mention Alberto. He went above and beyond to make our whole experience special. All of our needs and wants were met with exceptional service. We hope to be back. Thank you, Alberto and everyone.
