Elsa was the best housekeeping person in building number one. She took care of all of her needs. It was very personable. She invited us back as soon as we can come. The pools in the location of the outrigger on the island are the best. The valet helped me with all my baggage. I’ll choose the outrigger next time I come to Kauai. The restaurant had the best crabcakes on the island. Love the ribeye steak also.

Relaxed and refreshed
A wonderful property, well run and beautiful grounds. Fantastic location. A genuine old Hawaii vibe. We really enjoyed ourselves and truly relaxed. A good value too. Just perfect if you wanna get away and just chill, we definitely would recommend this place.

Good and bad. Was a nice ocean view room, clean, good service. They charge you $25 a day to park a car at the hotel you rented a room. There's not enough parking and the lot is a distance from the entrance. They sell passes to the pools to non hotel patrons so you'll find some unsavory folks there, small kids in the adult areas, etc.

Spoiled by the best
Elsa our housekeeper for the Outrigger was extremely good and made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. I was met by name and a smile each and every time our paths crossed. Elsa is an asset for your company. Thank you to all the staff for making my wife and I feel at home even though we were 4,377 miles from home. The resort was beautiful,very clean, and well manicured.

Additional charges - honest review
The resort was beautiful just writing this to inform you of all the extra charges they put in at the end. Parking, resort fees, CTAT, TAT GET whatever those are could add up to $100 extra per day after what you already paid for. If you can get the $7 appetizer during happy hour until 6pm at the resort do that else eat somewhere out of the resort. The beach was beautiful but not swimmable, pool chairs are minimal, and yes people do try and save them had to get there early 7am. But all in all location was great can get south /west or north easily and wasn't far from other restaurants. Daily room cleaning. Everyone was nice.
