    A good time away…

A beautiful resort where the staff were friendly and made us feel at home. From Dianne who distributed the beach towels, the staff in the café, the ladies who cleaned our room ,we were greeted with a smile which brightened our days. Oceans Got Talent at the Showtime theatre featuring the different staff that performed was good. The host O’Brian from the entertainment team did a great job, keeping us laughing and engaged throughout the show. His charisma while hosting as well as being a part of the group dance routine was nice flare to the show. The kids area was a delight for the little ones as they played in the water. The lifeguard Philandre did a great job, teaching the kids about pool safety. Breakfast was a highlight at Red Snapper featured a number of delicious options for authentic Jamaican experience . Overall, a beautiful and relaxing location that I would definitely visit again.

Accessible Secret - what people won’t tell you.

Finding information about how accessible this hotel is for wheelchair users was difficult. We took a chance and it paid off. The complex is very accessible and the staff will go out of their way to help you. Wide doorways, ramps that are long and wide, multiple lifts in every building and spacious rooms. If you have complicated needs I would always ring the hotel first, they are easy to talk to and willing to help. The privilege option was well worth it for us, food was lovely and the service was of a high quality. This is a family resort don’t forget so there are miniature humans running around. The sister hotel Ocean Eden Bay next door, shares some of the same facilities, but is adult only. The resort is very secure and has security hiding in every neatly trimmed hedge row! With lots of restaurants and bars on site, swimming pool, kids water park and every water activity available through Simpsons water sports, you really don’t need to leave. We didn’t try every restaurant, The privilege lounge was of a high quality and our favourite, the red snapper is well worth a visit. The only disappointment was Route 66, cold food and bad service, sorry. With regard to allergies, the restaurants are very good and we felt safe with regard to food at all times. The resort provides the Jamaica vibes all you have to do is kick back and relax. Yeah Man!

    Couples vacation

We arrived at the hotel with a party of 10 and we're very skeptical of getting that many people for restaurant reservations. Andre was amazing along with Melissea and Brison to get us at the lovely restaurants at the resort. We especially loved the Italian and the steakhouse. The buffet did not disappoint either. We did have some issues with our rooms which was unfortunate but all in all it was a great trip. The pool is beautiful the grounds are beautiful the beach was fun. Very unique. Not a typical Beach I would say. Definite upgrades for the rooms are warranted. We stayed at the Ocean Coral Springs.

    Okay resort, terrible customer service

We are still in the resort now. We arrived 2 families to the resort a couple of days ago. I thought to share the experience so far. I will start with Pros: 1- the hotel is full of entertainment, especially in the evening. 2- resort is clean. 3- the entertainment team are very friendly. The Cons which are many: 1- Customer Service is the worst we’ve seen in the whole Caribbean. Everyone is rude and don’t care about customers from front desk all the way to the room service. The people working in restaurants are the worst of them all. 2- if you are travelling with Kids l, DON’T choose this resort. People here are not kids friendly. 3- there is a terrible smell comes from the rooms, apparently something is broken in the building ventilation. 4- the food is below average. Very low quality for a Five Stars resort, more like 3 stars hotel. 5- the Beach is awful and not swimmable. Sans is rocky and muddy while big rocks are all over the beach. We’ve visited many resorts and I know hoe important reviews can be, I was very disappointed with my trip. Never again to this one

    Beautiful Resort

The best experience ever. Glad I did not listen to any bad reviews and went on yo experience the best food, entertainment, clean room and friendliest staff that made our stay a 10 out of 10. I am big on customer service and we stayed on the Privilege side which the following people made each day a pleasure to be there. Randel,Stacia Simpson,Danique,Mikhail Wray. Rayjay,Raquel and Acke at the bar made delicious drinks. Privileged restaurant Shamara, Althea and Nicola. I am forever grateful and thankful for the staff for making my Birthday trip the best birthday I have ever had.
