Just, OK..
OK Hotel but not a 5 star. Incorrectly advertised by TUI, as usual, as a higher star than it is. Starting with positives.. Staff were friendly, very good concierges, good food selection and quality was generally on the positive side. Great pool which was well maintained, good family room which kept kids entertained in the evening, bowling was also good we enjoyed this on a few nights.. Negatives..Rooms were dated, very long handwritten check in process, constantly asked room number at all restaurants and for towel exchange. On arrival our room door was broken, when staff had put suitcases in the room we couldn’t get them out as handle fell off and we were stuck outside! Had to wait an hour or longer for repairs which is frustrating after a 9hour+ flight. Bar staff are minimal often waiting for drinks, not the staffs fault. Drinks in the buffet restaurant took absolutely ages every single evening, often felt like they attempted to limit drinks? Entertainment was the biggest issue! Limited entertainment, not very positive other than beach party which was good but once a week, poor layout in main area as no where to sit and have a drink/socialise as a family limited tables & chairs in area where band plays. Bands were good when they were on. During stay staff often approached customers asking for food and drinks, which is understandable but some guests should bear this in mind. Manmade rocky beach, not very sandy at all I would stay negril side for beaches. Unfortunately I would not recommend, previously stayed at Royalton Negril and we found ourselves constantly comparing! We had a good holiday as we always make the most of it, but for an expensive 2 week holiday travelling from England I would not choose this hotel again.

An extremely disappointing experience.
The hotel itself was just okay with some amenities, lukewarm food and mediocre entertainment. It has a little beach but I heard several guests complaining about the state of it. It’s small and rocky. There are a few pools and a lazy river. Special mention to Travis who did his best to soften the blow at check in. Same goes for Lorraine— both are a credit to the hotel. Philandre assisting at the Lazy River was also very friendly and helpful especially with my elderly mother. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for Jodine at the check in desk as I found her abrupt, abrasive and dismissive. The same is true for some of male bar staff near the beach. The staff treat those with Jamaican accent as if they’re are not human beings which I find beyond disgusting. For example; my brother was at the bar first and ordered his drink in his Jamaican accent- the staff ignored him and proceeded to take order from an American couple who came in after him. Would I recommend the hotel? No I wouldn’t. There are better five stars in the vicinity so my suggestion would be to spend your money elsewhere. Furthermore, communication is not their strong point so please make sure you don’t have any reason to contact them via email or via this app as you’ll be ignored.

Extremely Disappointed — Left Stranded with No Accountability
I was a guest at Ocean Coral Spring Hotel between April 29th and May 3rd 2025 and had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with their promised transportation service. I booked round-trip airport transfers directly through the hotel’s website, provided all travel details, and received confirmation that I would be picked up. Despite following all instructions and arriving on time, there was no representative to meet me, no communication from the hotel or its transportation partner (Turissimo Jamaica), and I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for a taxi late at night after I called the hotel and was advised by their staff to take a taxi and that I would be reimbursed. What made the situation worse was the hotel’s complete lack of accountability. Although my reservation and all communications came directly from Ocean by H10 Hotels, I was told that because I didn’t arrive by plane, the transfer didn’t apply—this limitation was never stated anywhere during booking or in confirmation emails. Instead of taking responsibility, the hotel blamed me for “bypassing the system,” despite the fact that I followed every step exactly as directed. This experience was not just inconvenient—it was unacceptable. I was left stranded, misled, and have received inconsistent and dismissive responses ever since. Guests should not be penalized for trusting a hotel’s own advertised services. I expected better from a property of this caliber and will not be recommending this hotel to others. Proceed with caution if you're relying on their transportation services. In addition, the room I was in was definitely not 5 star quality. There were stains on the couch, huge cracks in the walls, nails sticking out of the walls (a potential hazard), titles sticking out, a paint splattered all over. Water dripping in the lobby with a bucket to catch it and caution tape around the seating area. I have attached some photos. I also have videos I can share.

Just perfect
First time visiting Jamaica from the uk I would 100% go back Such a lovely resort The food was lovely The drink was great The staff work so hard and go above and beyond Rooms were perfect, and fridge filled everyday, the beach was lovely was concerned with some I read but it wasn’t as bad as so people say :-) Keep up the great work

Great hotel and lovely staff
Thank you to the staff at ocean Coral Spring nothing was too much hassle. Big thank you to Andre Higgins for booking us in at the steakhouse and recommending local places to go sightseeing. We really appreciate all your time and hard work. The hotel was nice and clean & facilities were amazing. Thank you again to Andre for recommending the spa. I had a relaxing time it was just what i needed ☺️
