Ladies: No tank tops, shorts and beach sandals. Gentlemen: No sleeveless shirts, shorts, beach sandals. **In the Alcazar men are required to wear shirts with sleeves. The guests receive upon arrival pre-arranged invitations per room for our specialty restaurants according to the number of nights that the guest is staying.

I'm currently here now and to be honest it has really gone down hill they advertise 6 restaurant but it's nearly impossible to get reservations. I got here Wednesday and could get a reservation until Saturday. Beware of the time share scam by Clifford. Another of promises by him alot of lies. It is 100 percent a time share and not 90 min try 4 hrs. Service is poor free drinks yes but there's long lines everywhere. We couldn't even get beach chairs at the beach.

After holidaying in Mexico and feeling the staff were friendly and helpful I can only say the staff at Occidental Caribe go the extra mile. The staff very warm who makes you feel welcome and cater to all your needs with a smile and attentiveness of someone who truly enjoys his/her work. Cliford is a born PR person , always ready to provide quality service or advice. He remembers and carries out everything you ask for and helps to make your stay memorable and enjoyable. Sandy the bartender with an unusual knack for being able to handle the most rowdy guests thru his calm and friendly. I have added Occidental Caribe to my favorite place.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great facilities, beach, pools, bar, restaurants. Some really good evening entertainment.rooms cleaned daily . Staff were friendly in particular a member of staff called Clifford was very friendly helpful, going out of his way help us translate some paperwork for our transfer. We also done the boogie buggy trip which we would recommend.

we will be back
we stayed for a week as a group of 10. We had a great stay and would return for sure.Nilson at the pizza restaurant was amazing with our kids, he would even find us at breakfast every morning and say hi.

The following regulations may be enforced: -Motorized water sports may be banned -Non-motorized water sports may be limited or banned -Alcohol consumption may be restricted (most resorts get a permit enabling them to serve alcohol to nonnative people during the ban) -Music may be limited or silenced

- General Policies:
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Hotel Spring Break Policy - The hotel will not accept any Spring Break groups. If the hotel does make an exception the following policy will be strictly applied: Students / youth are considered by the hotel as anyone between 16 and 23 years old. They will be required to sign a responsibility letter agreeing to leave the hotel if there is a disruption. Upon check in each student / youth will be required to leave cash deposit of $400 per person - no exceptions and cash only. Minimum age requirement for hotel check in is 18. Any guests under the age of 18 will require a chaperone. 1 chaperone is required per 3 students / youth under the age of 18. Minimum age for a chaperone is 28.
Legal drinking age in the DR is 18. Any guests under 18 will be given a wrist band that will not allow them to have access to alcohol at any venue and will also not allow them in the disco. All guests are required to wear wristbands. The cost for a lost wristband is $250 - no exceptions. The hotel does reserve the right to ask any student / youth to check out of the property if the hotel policies are not fulfilled without the right to a refund for the remaining nights of the reservation.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price.
