The hotel is located on the most beautiful beach I've ever seen, and it's a fantastic hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. There were always free loungers by the pool, without the hassle of reserving towels. We felt truly at home and slept very well at night during our stay in paradise thanks to the comfortable mattresses. Having breakfast on our terrace in the morning was wonderful. The sunset on the beach is magical. I'd especially like to thank Belinda from the activity desk and Joe from the front desk. Thank you so much; your endless friendliness and warmth made our stay even more wonderful.

Mar 24, 2025Some rooms need TLC but I'd stay again
Overall the resort is great for the price. Right on the beach but can't see it from most rooms. Depending on what room you get the owner may not have updated things. Out kitchen was nicely upgraded with stone counters and good cabinets. The bathroom counter was old and the shower had cracked grout and mold in the tub handles. But overall I'd stay again.

Surely once more
Very good site !! We enjoyed our stay there really very much. All wonderful clean, perfect service, very exciting pool landscape and a beautiful beach at Kaanapali. We recommend Aston Maui Kanappali Villas as a very good location and we would book here again.

One of the best places in Maui
The room was clean. The staff was super friendly and super helpful. The premises were super clean. The food and drinks from Castaway Cafe were really good as well. They even had beach gear and snorkeling equipment rental on site as well. I will definitely be coming back.

The True Spirit of Aloha!
I've been coming to the Kaanapali Villas since 1996! The whole experience is so lovely and relaxing. From the great conversations about the spiritual experience of swimming with sea turtles while renting snorkel gear from Chuck to developing new friendships with Rickie (who makes the BEST pina coladas with a dark rum floater... life changing) and Liz (one of the coolest and sweetest humans ever) at the Castaway Cafe... I came away so full of love and the Spirit of Aloha!! The place is absolutely gorgeous, but the human connection was the true soul healing I needed!! I am truly grateful!
