This was an amazing hotel. Great staff, friendly & helpful. The room was clean, modern with a fridge and microwave. Location was great right across from the beach, not too far from food truck area as well. They have shuttle service up to 3 miles which is nice. The gym is truly nice amenity. Great pool area to relax. They also have a laundry room so you don't have to go back home with dirty clothes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the price & location can't beat it.

The Maui Coast Hotel is the BEST place to stay on Maui!!
My wife and I stayed here Jan 15 - 18, 2025. It's an amazing place! We had an ocean-view room in the newer KAI Tower. The hotel is very clean, there are multiple drinking water filtration kiosks all around the property, and multiple levels of security for building entry and elevator access. Every employee I talked or interfaced with was pleasant and helpful. There is a lot to do on property, I'm just reviewing the amenities we used. The square jacuzzi just outside the SW entrance to Kai was perfect to warm up after ocean swimming, and very clean. The pool area has a nice bar with food service and live music every evening. There is a towel and lotion shack with both pool and beach towels, and reef-safe mineral-based sunscreen along with a great aloe lotion, all free. We would lotion-up in the morning, head to the beach with rental beach chairs, spend the morning whale watching, relaxing on the beach, and playing in the ocean. There is a wonderful restaurant on property, Kihei Caffe. The breakfasts are plenty for two with lots of local choices for food, everything we had there - ex.s include a shrimp & crab omelet, and pancakes with macadamia nuts and bananas - was delicious. The beach is a short walk away so many walks along the beach and many walks around the area. This location is ideal, near so many excellent bars and restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The area is not as exploitive as most areas around the mega-resorts. Very friendly people everywhere we went. This is truly a five-star hotel and mini-resort. We recommend The Maui Coast Hotel if you want a beautiful place to stay without the giant resort "Disneyland" feel. Lots to do, lots to eat & drink, great location, and excellent service!

Great stay
Shuttle service a real plus as we did not rent a car. EVERYONE was friendly. Great location and nearby things to do. Beautiful beach park across the street. More like a small resort than a hotel..

Awesome Stay
We booked Maui Coast through Expedia and chose the ocean view room. Check in was super easy, and the key card is a wristband which is super convenient! The room itself was nice and spacious with a great view of the pool and ocean. It’s walking distance to the beach, and the resort has a few pools and jacuzzis as well. The room came with free water bottles and there was a water station downstairs, so no need to purchase water if you remember to bring your water bottle with you! We stayed 2 nights and they cleaned the room after the first night which was a pleasant surprise as I didn’t think they would for such a short stay. Parking was free which was a huge plus, and they have complimentary washer and dryer where the ice machine is located. The hotel is right near Kihei Cafe, down the street from an ABC Store, and much more. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future!

Great Maui Hotel
Maui Coast Hotel provided all we needed. Pool, bar, and cafe. Serviced room was excellent. We'll be back.
