9 Doors Japanese restaurant is located on the ground floor of the lobby and is divided into the sushi bar and Teppanyaki area. In the Sushi Bar you will find an excellent and elaborate selection of sushi and 8 Teppanyakis, with capacity for 10 people and six sittings per day, you can have a real experience of show cooking whilst enjoying Japanese cuisine.
Table Reservation are required for teppanyaki. No reservation required for the Sushi Bar.

In a typically Italian atmosphere, the restaurant Il Botaccio offers a dinner service with the best and most representative dishes of Italian cuisine. In addition, during the morning and midday, Il Botaccio opens its doors to Elegance Club customers to serve breakfast and for an a la carte lunch. Restaurant will remain open for breakfast and lunch, exclusively for guests staying at the Elegance Club (Adults only 18+ section).

The staff and service was excellent. Rafael was our butler and did a great job for us. The best part of the whole resort is the Elegance Club bar on the beach with Maxima, Marilania, Anyelina, and Walliam. They are the BEST and make the time extra special. The only drawback is the constant bother of unaffiliated vendors and salespeople that traffic the beach. They are relentless and a nuisance to an otherwise beautiful paradise.

There is a reason this resort has one of the highest return rates of guests. Once you've been here, you will realize your search for the perfect Punta Cana resort has ended. Definitely upgrade to the "club" experience. It adds so many amenities for the money. When you go, make sure to discover the club swim up bar. Ismael will give you phenomenal service. For the price point, Majestic Elegance will not disappoint.

Santa and Felix!
Staff are wonderful especially Santa and Felix at the beach bar! For a few dollars they can arrange to have your beach chairs saved for you every morning with fresh towels and of course lovely drinks delivered! I highly recommend this resort!

Best service ever!
What an incredible vacation! We are definitely returning to the Majestic Elegance (Elegance Club) in Punta Cana for the excellent customer service, beautiful beach and luxurious resort. We have been to numerous resorts all over the Caribbean (Royalton, Bahia, Iberostar and Beaches/Sandals) and this hotel surpassed all our expectations mainly due to the high quality and consistency of the service our family received. Every staff member we encountered ensured that our experience was the best it could be. In fact, several staff members went of our their way to accommodate my family (my father was in a wheelchair), we were very grateful and appreciated the caring and support from the staff. The resort is situated in a prime location on Bavaro beach. Water is beautiful and clear but can be wavy especially during the morning tides. We didn't experience any problems with Sargassum (which is less prevalent at this time of the year). Beach is crowded with many beach walkers because it is an amazing beach for long walks or runs. Beach vendors are respectful and not pushy in any way. Food In general, the food options were good and plentiful. Main buffet had lots of options but mostly average at best. A la carte restaurants were much better, Italian and Japanese had very tasty food. Again, the excellent and attentive staff at all the restaurants really elevated the experience. Two notable restaurant staff members that deserve recognition for their excellent customer service and willingness to go above and beyond: Rueben E. at See and Sea, Asadito, Bottaccio Robin at See and Sea, Asadito, Bottaccio Thank you for making our family feel like one of your own. Property Pristine and clean. Gardens well manicured. Never a dirty bathroom. No bugs at all (how much do they spray??). Pool + Beach bars- never that crowded, generally quick service and plenty of servers on the beach (at least at the Elegance Club areas). Top shelf alcohol at the main lobby bar, which was a fantastic area to spend the evening. Staff Another notable staff member was our butler, Dario. What a gentlemen! Again, he took such good care of us and ensured that our every need was met. Especially, in regards to our dad. We thank you very much. Other shout outs to amazing staff: Felix, Mariliana, Jenni and Rosa at the Club Beach bar. Alejandro and the Club pool Yoel, Isedeo and Yessica from the Italian restaurant Entertainment Live music every night and good quality entertainment. We didn't go to the casino or "disco". Lots of activities at the pool and beach if you need them but also a great place to relax if that is your preference. All staff was top notch. Really can't praise them enough and their great service elevated our experience at this wonderful hotel. No property is perfect but the Majestic Elegance exceeded our needs and left us relaxed and ready to return to enjoy the experience again.

Amazing First Visit to the DR
My husband and I went to the DR with 3 other couples (my siblings and their partners). This was an incredible experience, customer service-wise. In fact, I don't think I've ever been treated so well on vacation! The grounds are beautiful and we saw people working hard every day to clean, paint, trim grass, etc., to ensure a positive experience. We enjoyed our stay so much that my husband and I stayed three days longer than anticipated! From the welcome drink in the beautiful atrium to a late check-out, staff went out of their way to make sure that we had a perfect vacation. We had the pleasure of working with both Erickson and Diego as butlers, and they went above and beyond to meet our needs from check in to check out. We had one room issue with water temperature, which was resolved quickly. Diego coordinated our move to a different room when we extended our stay and reserved safe, reliable airport transportation on our new return date. Between restaurant reservations, multiple daily check ins, and information about any special events on the property, we all felt pampered. I highly recommend: The filet and ham croquettes in the Limited Gourmand, the teppanyaki at the Japanese Steakhouse, and the ice cream at the See and Sea restaurant on the waterfront. Anyelina and Maxima worked at the pool/beach-side bar and took the time to get to know us. My husband enjoys beers without alcohol (such as Beck's and Heineken Zero). They made special trips to stock the bar with his preferred brands! Anyelina refreshed my drinks before they were empty and stopped to teach us Spanish (which we wanted!), tell jokes, and point out sea life. She and the other bar/beachfront staff, including Santa, Joel, and Walliam, policed the chairs to make sure that we had fresh towels, clean cabanas, and an environment conducive to relaxation. They protected us from any overly zealous off-site vendors and non-members who tried to encroach on our space. They even inflated our (very) large inflatable tubes! Rosa, who works in the upstairs (atrium) bar, made our group 8 personalized Punta Cana woven bracelets when she learned that our mom had passed away last year. This warmth and generosity touched us deeply and brought happy tears to our eyes. Finally, the bartender in the casino was also particularly lovely and effectively managed an overly drunk patron by refilling his drinks without alcohol (I wish I could remember her name). This was my first time in the DR and my first time at this resort. I spoke to several other guests and they all had the same thing to say - the staff at the Majestic Elegance are something special. One person mentioned that she stayed in another, brand new resort last year, but that the personalized experience and excellent food at the Majestic won her over. We plan to return (hopefully) in the near future with our adult children. Until then, we have fabulous memories and photos to remind us of our week in paradise!
