Victor, Lilabeth, Salome, Juan Daniel, and Alex Javier are fantastic bartenders and workers. Wonderful place to come to on vacation. Would recommend to anyone. Tons of sun and great weather. The beach is also super clean. The rooms are very nice as well. Nothing bad to say about the place

Great stay!
We spent our honeymoon at majestic elegance. Overall we enjoyed our experience. Rooms: we stayed in a swim up room on the elegance club side. The rooms are very nice and spacious. I found the bed to be very comfortable and we both slept well every night. The air conditioner worked fine. It does turn off when you leave the room or open the door, but our room remained comfortably for the duration of our trip. We left tip money in our fridge to receive more of what we wanted. Sometimes they wouldn’t leave snacks unless we tipped specifically where he put the snacks. Butler service: we found that our butler did very litttle for us. He was very friendly and checked in on us when we would see him around the resort, but all he did was make reservations for us, and help us get rid of a charge to our room which was incorrect. I had read previous reviews about tipping the butler and how much and people recommended $100 but I truly feel you should base it on personal experience. We tipped much lower than that and I even felt that was too much based on level of service. Perhaps we could have asked for more, but… maybe it should just be done or offered. Food: I had been to the elegance years ago and the food was amazing. This time I would have to say it was just ok. Sea and sea: we went to the lunch buffet once and had a good experience. My husband loved the burgers and I found some salads and sides I enjoyed. We also went to dinner. We both ordered surf and turf and both didn’t like our meals. The lobster was chalky and honestly made me almost gag because of the texture and the steak was a little tough. We spoke to others around the resort and that seamed to be the least favourite restaurant statistically. We did sit at a table near the ocean and the view was spectacular. No reservations required Italian: we ate there twice for breakfast and we both enjoyed our meals. My husband really enjoyed the Mexican eggs. We tried to eat there a third time but after forty minutes of not being served in a mostly empty restaurant we left because we didn’t want to waste our day there. (When we went for dinner another night they remembered that we left and apologized profusely.) Dinner was ok as well. I found my pasta to be cooked a little too Al dente but that could just be preference. No reservations required Steak house: this restaurant was our favourite for flavor. We both had the tenderloin and had no complaints. We did go a second time and we both had different cuts of meat which were not as tender but the flavor was good. We also thought this was the nicest looking restaurant decor wise. No reservations required. French: not terribly French themed but the ambiance was nice. There was a pianist playing while you ate. I ordered the vol au vent for an appetizer and found it very fishy tasting. I got the duck for supper and enjoyed it - but it was a little on the sweet side. My husband had The leek soup and said it was the best thing he ate so far. He had the chicken for super and it was very rich. Reservation required. Teppanyaki: the experience is great. Juan our chef put on a good show and had the whole table laughing. We received a sushi appetizer, and dinner was the stir fry. The food itself was again just ok. Reservations required Buffet: we ate here a couple times for breakfast and dinner. I enjoyed the breakfast spread but found it difficult to get ketchup sometimes. The food in the buffet was ok nothing spectacular. There were only a handful of items I really enjoyed. I recommend trying the hot chocolate on the buffet it’s in a vat in one of the middle sections. So good ! Beach: is beautiful. We noticed that in front of the resort seemed to be one of the calmest places from the waves. We enjoyed people watching and long walks in either direction. The staff watches for people who aren’t part of the resort that try to take beach chairs which is nice. We occasionally had someone ask us for drink orders at the beach but for the most part had to walk back to the club bar to get them. The Bali beds are hard to come by as people throw their stuff on it early in the morning. I personally think the beds are gross… there’s only so much cleaning they do of them… Overall I enjoyed the resort and would go back.

Can't Wait To Return
This was our first visit to the Majestic Elegance and we will definitely be returning. We stayed in a Club Elegance Junior Suite with a beautiful view of the pool and gardens. The suite was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and suite was stocked with drinks and snacks during our entire stay. The pools, beach areas, and resort grounds are beautiful. All of the staff were friendly and pleasant to chat with. Our butler, ORLANDO, was amazing. He did a fabulous job keeping us informed of activities around the resort, making our dinner reservations and frequently checking to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend you request Orlando as your butler during your stay. Reserving a butler during your stay is well worth it! I also want to give a shout out to Franklin who was our waiter several times during our stay. He was full of personality and made our dining experience so much fun. Our overall experience at the Majestic Elegance was amazing.

Awesome experience. Loved every5hing about this resort. Grounds are well kept up with beautiful trees and greenery
We traveled with a group of 6. From the minute we arrived the staff was very accommodating. Everyone always happy and smiling. We arrived a day later than our friends due to airline issues and was upgraded to the Presidential suite for our stay. 5his was confidently located to everything. We loved it. We also had a butler called Orlando. He was the best. He took care of everything for us. We highly recommend to ask for Orlando. The food, atmosphere alcohol were all top notch. We really enjoyed our server Franklin as well. Such a nice kid. Always smiling and happy. We definitely planning on returning. The Victorianos from the Bayou

Best vacation destination ever. We plan to make it an annual trip.
This was our third trip to the Majestic Elegance. We absolutely love it there. Santiago Encarnacion and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Santiago was on top of all our requests. We just booked our next stay for this coming February. And hope to get Santiago as our butler again.
