Wonderful 1st time visit - Maison Colbert - great location
My wife and I visited Paris for the 1st time in our lives the 1st week of December. Arrived Saturday at 8:30 AM and the front desk person was extremely helpful. The room was not ready (nor did we expect it to be) but they secured our luggage, provided us a map, some basic suggestions and off we went to wander (in fact we wandered an average of 18,000 steps each day). The hotel was supposed to call us when the room was ready but I think they lost my cell phone number or forgot because when we returned around 3:30 PM the room was ready and I had an email telling me it was ready at 2 PM. No big deal. Our room was a singular extra (I paid more for the slightly larger space with the sofa). Please be aware that the singular extra rooms are all located next to the service elevator so very infrequently we did hear some slight noise but again not enough to be an issue. Room was wonderful but tight by American standards but we knew that going in. Small but clean bathroom area with a shower area. Breakfast buffet was included in our package and in other reviews, I heard people complain because each day was the same exact items but we had really good food and enough variety to not be bored. This is a small hotel (35 room total I think) so the breakfast area was small but cozy. Wonderful court yard area but was way to cold to sit outside but imagine in spring , summer or fall a great place to relax. Entire staff (dining, front desk, cleaning) were all very nice and willing to do what they could to fulfill requests. The dining area is also has a very small bar with very limited selections and it was closed Monday - Wed during our visit but when I requested an after dinner drink upon our return to the hotel on late night, the front desk did open the room and pour a whiskey which I took to the room. The hotels locations (1 minute walk to the Seine) with immediate views of Notre Dame plus the neighborhood area had no shortage of food, drink and people watching options. I will make one small comment and only because I read it in someone else's review. When you exit your room into the very short hallway to steps or elevator, there is some time of automatic air freshener device on the wall and while the dispensed fragrance did not bother me, my wife thought it smelled like a person applied too much cheap perfume. Again, this is not a complaint but we did smell something like the other person. Perhaps a lavender or lemon scent would be more welcome. Overall, I believe the hotel delivered exactly what we wanted, had a great staff and was an excellent value.

Cute boutique slice of Parisian chic
My colleague and I had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. A cute boutique hotel with lots of history. Quirky individual rooms with all the amenities and comfortable bedding etc. Nice additional touches for Melia club members. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the location is a bonus. Right by Notre dame but jsir away from the tourist hoards. Nice cafe’s and ships/supermarkets around each corner. We loved it. Only downside was the onsite bar/cafe not being open on a Monday or Tuesday evening but there are great choices nearby to eat and drink.

Une horreur
The entire hotel reeks of a harsh, synthetic chemical fragrance that permeates every space, including the rooms. The smell is so nauseating it leaves a bitter aftertaste in your mouth. Industrial-sized diffusers flood the hallways with this overpowering stench, creating an environment that’s downright unbearable. Staying here feels less like a hotel experience and more like being trapped in a cheap Vegas strip club. Ignore every positive review—this place is an assault on the senses. Avoid at all costs.

Ok stay
The building and location of this small hotel are perfect, right by Notre Dame and a new area for me in Paris after many visits. A really warm welcome and drink started things well. The room was quite small with a lot in it. The bed was huge though and very comfortable with lovely linen. The shower room was tiny and I did wonder how some people would manage with it, but everything worked. From the decoration and vibe, I think this hotel is set up for the Instagram crowd as it’s all very pretty with lots of stuff dotted about, however it makes for a not very practical room. The breakfast room was similar and whilst all very polite, service was quite slow, tables needed clearing and the food/drinks needed to be replenished. Lastly, we had the do not disturb light on just before leaving and a cleaning guy still knocked on our door and came in. We also think that someone had been in whilst we were at breakfast as we turned the lights off but they were on when we returned. An average stay, ok for one night, good for the Insta crowd.

Perfect Paris Hotel
I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect!!! And the setting ideal - on a quiet and lovely street. Our room was beautiful, quiet, and meticulously maintained. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast - beautiful and delicious. We were so sad to leave Paris of course, but extra sad to leave this hotel in particular. I have stayed at many special hotels in Paris and this is the top of the list. Can't wait to return!!!
