Average hotel.
I'd say this hotel is just average. While it looks beautiful in the photos and even when you first arrive, there are major disadvantages. We had 2 rooms and when we checked in they gave us one keycard for each room and had us sign a form saying they would charge us if we lost the room key. Who does that? The rooms all look like they are in tree houses with lounge furniture and hammocks in front of each room. It's very pretty but we were on the second floor and the stairs to our unit were uneven and tilted precariously to the side. I was very nervous walking up the stairs at night in the dark, afraid I would fall. When I went to take a shower there was no hot water and zero water pressure. The most I could get was a lukewarm trickle of water. There are way better places to stay in Playa del Carmen.

Thank you!
Overall it's amazing. The view, options, especially the service. I got to talk to a staff member in the bar called Dani/Danu, he's the best. If you need a good time, a drink, a good laugh, true advice/information, actually a good friend, then he's your guy. In general they're very kind and thoughtful people, I wish the best for them. The location is spot on, and the length the hotel staff goes to make your trip more comfortable is incredible. I was with family, and I shared room with my mother, and it initially was a single large bed, plenty of space for two, but we wanted two separate beds, and we got that the same day. It was meant to be like that, but the company we booked through messed a lot of stuff up(NOT affiliated with the hotel)

Great ADULTS ONLY boutique hotel- a hidden gem!
My sister and I did a week-long girl's trip and stayed at this hidden gem of a hotel! Even though the location is right in the heart of all the shopping and dining, it felt so private and secluded! The hotel has a beautiful spa right on premises and a Brazilian steakhouse restaurant as well, and our hotel stay gave us discounts at both. The rooms, pool, bar and green spaces were secured behind a glass door that required a room key to enter, and that door was right by the front desk, so there was always hotel staff present and available. It also felt very safe and quiet. We were assigned a concierge, Elieser, who was very helpful our entire stay. The front desk staff greeted us every time we passed through and were always attentive and helpful. We got great tips for nearby dining, shopping and attractions through them. The guest rooms all wrap around the pool and bar area, and remind me of tree houses with all the dark wood. Each room has a hammock across the private porch. Our room was tucked away in the back and had 2 double beds, with double sinks and a spacious shower. There were many channels on the large screen TV, quite a few of which were in English which was nice. Getting hot water in the shower was challenging at certain times of day- when we asked the front desk about the best times to get hot water, they sent someone from maintenance over just to check and make sure everything was in working order. I really appreciated that. The pool and pool deck were beautiful! Pool furniture was wooden with large cushions and pillows instead of those cheap plastic chairs, and there were plenty of umbrellas and side tables. My favorite place to perch was one of the 4 submerged loungers in the pool. The bar serves a variety of drinks and food, and was open for most of the day. Towel exchange was easy through the front desk staff. The hotel also partners with 2 clubs on the beach so we had the option to get chairs and an umbrella out there, but honestly we preferred the quiet and seclusion of the hotel pool for lounging. It was fun to walk along the beach as it is very active out there, even in October. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was certainly the spa, which offered massages, facials and other services. It is beautiful and serene with a sauna, steam room, showers, cool plunge and hot tub. We were able to spend time in the wet areas daily if we desired. The prices were a good value and the masseurs were fabulous! My sister and I booked couples massages so we could have our services at the same time- quite the treat. I also enjoyed a facial. The hotel also offers an excursion coordinator- Oscar booked reservations for a day trip to underground caverns and the pick up and drop off was right across the street from the hotel. He had so many options for adventures- tours, adventure parks, boats- it was hard to pick! I want to add that I accidentally left my tablet behind in the room when we left. When I called the hotel they found it, sent me a picture to confirm it, then worked with me over the course of several days to ship it back to my home in the states, even taking it to local FedEx. Elieser, Brenda and Vanesa made sure it got back to me safely- service above and beyond! I would definitely come back here and stay with friends again; I would even feel safe doing a solo trip.

EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON
The pictures don’t do it justice. It is so beautiful. Everyone is so helpful and really caring and taking care of you during your stay. Anytime I come to playa del Carmen I will book this hotel for sure. We had hydrotherapy included which was such a treat every night. Pool also has a nice warm jacuzzi.

This is the best boutique hotels iv ever been too
I cannot rate this hotel enough. The staff are fantastic. The pool cleaned every day cheap cocktails on happy hour, buy one get one free 12 till 3, We had such a comfortable bed wow slept like baby and the air-conditioning is great, and it’s free in with the hotel not like when you go Europe. All the staff are so friendly the cleaners are great. You don’t need them in every day. But if you do tip them well, they work so hard. The location is absolutely fantastic, The boutique hotel itself is a little sun trap but you walk out the front. You have everything you need and want, Coco bongos is directly opposite the hotel. The Beach is five minute walk but not so nice unless you walk to the other end it’s got a lot of seaweed which they do clean every day and can smell sometimes. But as an adult only hotel I will highly recommend it probably one of the best hotels I’ve been to and I’ve travelled a lot.
