Jan 17, 2025Great Hotel for Waikiki , everything you want to see is within walking distance. No need to rent a car , Ubers great.
Super clean, super Friendly Staff. The room was excellent, all amenities for having your food to prepare yourself The linens were comfortable and very clean. The bathroom was small but the shower was awesome. The staff again quick to help and awesomely pleasant.

Super-convenient, super staff, in the heart of Waikiki.
The hotel was a great value for the money. In the heart of Waikiki - walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including scrub sponge, dish soap, and paper towels! Gas station convenience store right next door had good selection, and Longs/CVS three blocks up was a godsend. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a great location, friendly helpful staff and all the amenities to make your Waikiki beach experience great. 5 min walk away to the beach, great shopping, amazing restaurants and nice walking routes. The hotel is clean, has a wine and cheese 3 times a week, towels for the beach and great views. Our room was on the East side and was a nice size with a great balcony. The rooms are a bit dated and the ac unit is quite loud, however for the price and location, we would certainly stay there again.

Conveniently located, retro Hawaii charm
The Luana was such a pleasant surprise on our first trip to Oahu (single mom traveling with 9-yo son). The front desk was very welcoming and accommodating to all of our questions. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable with a bit of retro decor. The view from our balcony overlooking Waikiki and the hotel pool was stunning for New Year's Eve! We got to see amazing fireworks from our balcony. The pool was a great temp, small but deep with lots of BBQs to grill food. Location was perfect for us, central to everything we needed. Valet was always available and fast getting our car. Quaint cheese and wine hour with live entertainment on Wednesday evening.

Great location, friendly staff
The Luana Waikiki is in a great location, walking distance to the beach and downtown Honolulu, but far enough to be away from all the noise. We had a fantastic view from our balcony! All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a really nice lobby. The rooms are clean and well appointed (ours had a full kitchen so we could make our own food), though some of the furnishings are getting worn. We had a great stay and would definitely choose it again the next time we go to beautiful Hawaii!
