A Truely Enjoyable Visit
I've just spent 3 nights here and I couldn't have asked for more. There were some initial teething problems with my booking - these were not the fault of the hotel in any way - but after realising what had happened, the manageress sorted it out in 5 minutes. The rest of the reception team that day were really good. Thankfully, their English is far better than my French, so communicating the course of action was easy. The room? Sure, the one I had could benefit from a refresh, but as it is, I think it actually adds to the character. The buffet breakfast was varied and certainly set you up for the day. It's not often I write a review, my review, when it comes to a restaurant, for example, is when I return. The staff here are a credit to the hotel and if you decide to visit them, I'm sure you will have an enjoyable stay.

Reasonable - but be warned
Whilst this hotel has the “Frenchness” that many will be craving there are a few negatives (and a couple of positives) to consider. Our bedroom was #1 (surely the first would be great) and overall it was okay. Lovely big bed, fridge, hot plate, small dining table, bath etc………however, the room was dated, the air con didn’t do cool and the room is situated next to the stairs, lift and car park entrance so noise constantly. To keep the room a reasonable temperature we had to keep the window ajar but then could hear all the noises, occasionally punctuated by cleaners having a domestic. The staff at the hotel are polite, professional and there 24/7. The hotel is located a stones throw away from the Metro station taking you all across Paris. The breakfast is basic, with a standard selection of pastries, meats and cheeses. There are two “hot” options a day (I’ve used speech marks because I’m sure they were hot at some point) For somewhere to rest your head for a night this hotel is well located and serves a purpose. The beautiful reception and fantastic staff don’t cover a multitude of sins though.

great location and service
stayed here for a week. ground floor by the garden. room was fine, good do with some wallpaper pasted. sink, kettle and microwave were handy, with local stores like franprix and carrefour and bakeries you can grab groceries and feed yourself without having to go out. The Nation metro a few hundred metres up the road has numerous lines. m9 to Eiffel Tower, m2 to Louvres, Concorde, Champs Elysees and Arc De Triopmphe. Disneyland Paris is 45 minutes away via RER A. Great spot.and reasonably priced. Would come back here.

Good location
Good location. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. However, had to unplug the fridge as it sounded like a jet engine in the middle of the night. Bathroom was dated - with a huge water tank suspended from the ceiling. Odd arrangement to get into the shower. That said, water pressure was great and it was hot.

hotel food issue
we went for the food down and half of the food was over they do not refill any again so if you come first you get all you need otherwise left over Its not worth giving money for the food, Rooms are decent not too big.
