WORST HOLIDAY RESORT EVER!!!
Worst place I’ve ever stayed in!!! The resort is in much need of a refurbishment, very tired looking, all thatched roofs falling apart, with large holes in them. When it rained, the water came through the roof of our block like Niagara Falls! We was trapped in our room until cleaners came and cleared up the flooded corridors and stairs! All inclusive it definitely WASN’T, all food was from a small menu, for breakfast, Lunch and Dinner! Only 1 Restaurant, not two as advertised, and the so called restaurant that was there, definitely wasn’t “Al a Carte”!!! We was served by waiters who wanted tips every day!! No nice buffet to go help yourself (as advertised!!) The food was inedible, absolutely disgusting! Mexico is the biggest producer of avocados, and yet for 5 days we was told, we have none?? So No guacamole?? Every day we was told what was NOT available from the limited menu! We spent a fortune eating out!! No snack bars as advertised, no poolside snack bar as advertised, no Cafe as advertised. You had to argue with waiters to be served premium drinks, otherwise you was served low cost substitute alcohol. No bottles of water in the only restaurant, only warm water from so called water coolers around the complex, which looked really grubby… NO entertainment whatsoever, even though it was advertised!!! When we arrived at 10.30pm after travelling for over 23 hours, we was expecting some snacks at least and a drink? We was told there was nothing available?!! We asked for Room Service and was told the Kitchen was closed?!! We went to bed hungry… There was only 2 rusty old bikes to hire out for residents, for a 90 + room resort??!! Air-conditioning was constantly breaking down during the night, which made sleeping really difficult, and uncomfortable. Constant power cuts, which somehow turned the water supply off?!! No kettle in the room as advertised, just a coffee machine with no instructions how to use it! The Jacuzzi bath on the terrace took nearly 2 hours to fill up!! The mini mart offered 7 day opening, on the day we departed (Tues) we wanted to buy some bits, but it was shut?!! Basically this place is a joke!! Totally ruined our experience of Mexico, we was very disappointed!! Not worth the money we paid. This resort is being falsely advertised by Tour Operators!! We booked through LoveHolidays.

Not worth it
Be careful. Property desperately needs update. Exercise equipment is not safe to use. No stocked first aid kits or AEDs on premises. Bugs noted in hotel room. Still in room after cleaning. First night ordered room service and sandwich arrived on moldy bread. No such thing as “3 restaurants or yoga” -no activities at all! Staff converted a US $20 bill and shorted me on pesos. (Guess they thought Americans can’t do math hah) If you are not considered one of their “special” guests, you won’t get timely service. Required “beach” tax is a joke! $35 fee for small sandy area but no direct access to water as property surrounded by steep rocks. The spa is a rip-off-pedicure did not even include nail trim and had to be redone the next day as the polish was chipped and looked like a child did the pedicure. I have more but ran out of room. You pay for what you get and in this case-a bargain was NOT a bargain.

Horrible. We changed from hotel after 2 days!!!!!!
- Broken or old equipment in the bedroom, from towels to torn sheets. - Broken AC buttons, broken trays, dirty and full of hair jacuzzi, where only cold water comes out, and we paid more to have a room with a jacuzzi. This jacuzzi that could not be used. - Unvaried feeding and in few hygienic conditions. There was no buffet at any time of day. And for breakfast they put us on the table a plate of laminated fruit, a bowl of oatmeal potatoes made in water with an ugly look and a coffee. And it was this, there was nothing else. - We were sold the image of a natural cenote in the hotel, that is a well of water without grace, like a river. - We didn't have access to bottled water all day, just 2 small bottles a day, the rest of the water was in glass pots spread across the hotel. What for an All-Inclusive Regime is unacceptable. - And we were encouraged by the hotel staff not to order too many dishes so there is no waste. - Little sympathy like throwing the dish or scissors over the table, or not looking at us when they are picking up the order. - Equipment like the gym passes without sockets or tears without access security. - SPA closed indefinitely. When they advertise that it is a hotel with a spa and nowhere says it is closed. - Like fire extinguishers out of the expiration period in a hotel made with a lot of wood / stove. And also nonexistent extinguishers, which is a huge security flaw.

Hotel that has everything to please but sorely lacks dynamism and friendliness.
The location is ideal (hotel area, close to restaurants, 10 minutes by bike from the beach and 15 minutes from the ruins of Tulum). The place is beautiful, but the premises look old and poorly maintained. The staff is not mean, but very unwarm and welcoming (do not introduce you to the place or ask you how the stay was at the check-out, for example). The spa was closed without explanation. The restaurant is ok, but the dishes are simple, not very varied and not all available depending on the day. One morning, we were served cereal that had expired two months ago, and the waiter barely apologized (he was mostly heard laughing with his colleagues). The hotel offers bicycles, but they are all rusty and in poor condition, it is a shame. The room was good and clean. The pool is nice, but it was not always very clean (insects, dead leaves, sand that accumulate). In short, this hotel is okay if you only come to sleep and spend your days outside. But as an “all-inclusive spa resort”, it’s clearly not enough and not worth it.

We enjoyed our stay. We had one negative event (be advised)
We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The food was excellent. The resort is located in an excellent location. The food and beverage staff are friendly. We had one negative event of theft. The housekeeping staff stole money from our room when we were at breakfast. I don’t blame the hotel for this as we should never have left money in our room. Advise: always take your money with you. Never leave it in the room unattended.
