Koa Kea Resort - A Relaxing Get-A-Way
A beautiful resort with a very relaxing vibe. Great views on the south side of Kauai. Property is well maintained with a lovely pool, pool-side bar and beautiful grounds. Easy walk across the highway to some shopping and dining options. Fine dining restaurant on site.

Luxurious retreat.
Luxurious resort with waterfront views and beach access. Excellent restaurant. Vegetarian food was limited. The flourless chocolate cake was The Best I've ever had, and I'm a connoisseur! There were no chickens on the property which I found amazing...! Room was spotless and we loved the lanai with table and chairs. Definitely plan to return.

Exceptional service embodied Aloha spirit!
The location, service and amenities were top notch. We had absolutely excellent service from check-in, valet services, housekeeping, restaurant staff to pool staff. All embodied the Aloha spirit. Staff were very informative and helpful with information regarding our stay on the island. Our room was nicely appointed and the resort was very well maintained. We would stay here again and again.

Friendly boutique resort on the beach
Beautiful location on the beach. Excellent food and drinks at the pool and at Red Salt. Good value relative to other spots. Cozy, friendly atmosphere where you get to know almost everyone working on the property. Convenient location for all of the Poipu restaurants, beaches and golf courses

Very dated rooms, older crowd
The rooms are very dated. The tile/grout in the bathroom is badly stained. I’m not sure why this is considered a 4-star hotel. That said, it seems like all of the hotels in Poipu are pretty dated, so there aren’t very good options there. The guests were mostly middle-aged and older. Many retirement age folks vacationing in this area.
