Best bartender at the JW Marriot adult swim up pool. Jonathan was the best bartender there! Took care of my family on our vacation and made it extra special every day! The adult swim up pool with Jonathan is the reason we’re coming back! Thank you Jonathan, you’re the best!

The bar at the adult pool
Had the best experience and best service at the JW marriot! The staff were each exceptional with their care and service. Particularly, Jonathan, at the adult pool bar. He made the best drinks and was very attentive. I had a great time thanks to Jonathan!

Best Club Lounge ever
The Club 91 staff is the best and every single person there from the hosts to the chefs to the waitresses to the bartenders merit a special mention. It is my fourth visit to the JW Marriott Cancun and every time, the highlight was always the club lounge. It is well worth the extra splurge to stay on the club level. The staff there is truly unrivaled. Highly recommended.

Staff Exceeded Expectations for Spring Break Family Trip & Birthday Celebration for Son
Had an amazing Spring Break trip with my family. The staff went above and beyond to exceed our expectations, particularly for my son's 5th birthday. We stayed in one of the oceanfront suites and they decorated our suite with a nice Happy Birthday sign and balloons for my son and gave him a nice spread of cookies and chocolate milk! Cade and his younger brother John loved it! Everywhere we went, the staff greeted Cade, wished him a happy birthday, and made him feel special the entire week. The staff made our stay memorable! Thank you for surprising & delighting our family. The restaurants were amazing. Drinks were great. Our suite was beautiful. We will come back!

JW Marriot Cancun exceeded our expectations
Our stay at the JW Marriott was AMAZING. The hotel/resort itself is beautiful and the staff and service is top tier. Some things that stood out were the servers at the beach and the waiters at the Italian restaurant “Gustino”. The beach servers Hidalgo and Manuel worked extra hard to make sure we always had the food and drinks we wanted and that everyone by the beach was comfortable and taken care of. The waiters Gustavo and Agustin also created a wonderful and personable experience for us at the Italian restaurant. There was another gentleman during our visit on Monday I wish I could call out by name but I didn’t catch his name. Our reservation was at 8pm but we got seated a little bit later and the manager Mr. Cruz, as well as the waiters mentioned before, made it right by offering complimentary treats and drinks to the table. We had such a great experience the first time we ate there that we ended up going to the Italian place twice during our stay and they somehow managed to top and surpass the first visit experience! The hotel has plenty of chairs by the beach and shaded huts as well. They have an amazing spa and complimentary pickleball & tennis. The constructive criticisms I have is that I wish they had more sit down dinner restaurant options, hopefully they will add some in the future and hopefully Mr. Cruz will manage those as well so we can have the same experience! I also wish the specialty workout classes like Pilates spinning yoga and boxing were complimentary, but unfortunately they do charge for them. I also do wish they offered complimentary bottled water but I believe that might only be an option at all inclusive resorts. I also wish that they provided more photos of the food from the restaurants, as it is sometimes difficult to know what international cuisines and specialty dishes may look like, and I wish they would warn guests if food is only prepared a specific way. It was tricky ordering at the Spanish restaurant because we are unfamiliar with that cuisine and unfortunately they messed up our order twice. They were unable to prepare the meat ‘well done’ as referred to in the US and we ended up sending it back once and cancelling it after they brought back a new piece of meat rare a second time, we would’ve rather had them just put the same piece of meat on the grill to avoid having us wait a while only for the order to be wrong again and then we waited again for the new dish we chose. We did choose a different dish and were not charged for the 2 meat dishes but our food did take a while which was unfortunate, I believe there was an issue with the oven and it was not the fault of the wait staff but I wish it could’ve been prevented. However overall our stay was amazing!!! We will definitely be visiting again, and we are counting down the days until we can come back!!!! -Ruiz Family
