Great location, nice hotel and terrific staff!
We stayed at the Element Colorado Springs while we were in town for our son’s hockey tournament. The location was great, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, we had some tasty meals at the rooftop restaurant, and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Especially Vernon, who was working at the front desk. He was helpful and friendly, and definitely went above and beyond to be helpful the night we had a team event. If we’re ever back in Colorado Springs, I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing hotel
The amazing Vernon who checked us in and with such warm greetings made the process so smooth and quick. He also made sure we had a beautiful view of the mountains on the 5th floor! And was so informative about things to do near by and there’s a nice selection for breakfast and our room was clean. bouns is that we were walking distances away from all the New Year’s Eve fun!

Great downtown hotel!
It is rare that I rate a 5. Over the years I have gone back and forth over how I feel about giving a 4 vs a 5. I honestly think our rating system should use 4 as basically perfect, meaning everything is as it should be. 5 should be reserved when a particular spot goes far above and beyond, so, perfect plus more than expected. This Element was a great hotel with 90% very friendly staff. The others were not necessarily unfriendly, but were also not overly so. The breakfast really needs to be a bit more flexible. It is obvious they are going for a sort of healthy approach, but widen the options a bit. The parking was $17, and considering they actually have a garage, I wasn’t too frustrated with the parking fee. I would definitely patronize this hotel again.

A Fantastic Staycation for the Holidays!!!
It has become a family tradition to celebrate the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas at our “home away from home” here! We are amazed at how welcoming the entire staff is and how we are truly treated like family. During our recent Thanksgiving week visit, EVERY TIME I passed by the front desk in the Element lobby I was greeted by Magalita’s friendly greeting, “how is everything Mr. Marcus? Is there anything we can do for you?” She was genuinely concerned about our well-being and the same can be said for the night front desk staff member Antoinette. Also, Sabrina in housekeeping went out of her way to help us with our cleanup from our room hosted Thanksgiving dinner. Assistant Manager Jackson and General Manager Ed were exceptionally accommodating with some reservation modifications we needed at the last minute prior to our arrival. The bright, decorative and cheerful decor throughout the hotel is extremely uplifting during the holidays. The mountain views, particularly from the Lumen8 rooftop restaurant are breathtaking and you can opt for either breakfast items made to order by their chef on the Element side or a traditional breakfast buffet on the SpringHill side of the sister hotels. And last but not least, I would be remiss if I didn’t point out how responsive and loving the entire staff was to our precious West Highland Terrier who accompanies us on our all our excursions! We highly recommend this property and would give 100 stars if we could!!!

All around excellent
This hotel is getting a rare, almost non-existent, five-star review from me. It wasn't perfect, but it was nearly perfect . The room is beautifully appointed, modern, clean, and spacious. The pool and hot tub are immaculate. The pool is warm but not too warm, the hot tub was a little too warm, but all in all pretty darn good. The fitness room is top notch. The staff were fantastic. The guy at check-in was thorough, but respected the fact that I probably heard all of what he said to the person in front of me. He didn't mindlessly repeat himself. But he did thank me for being a premier member. My friend reports that breakfast was good. Housekeeping is on request, but when I requested it it came fast and they did a good job. The only thing that is disappointing is that they charge for parking. I can understand charging for parking if a hotel is in the center of a large city like New York or San Francisco, a place where one can get by without a car. But this hotel's location is not suitable for public transportation or walking. So, most likely, 100% of the guests have to drive. Charging for parking seams unnecessary. If you're staying in Colorado springs, I definitely recommend the Element. It is by far the best lodging experience I've had in Colorado springs.
