Sieť Iberostar patrí k najlepším, preto som si vybral tento hotel. V Dominikánskej republike je furt teplo, teplý je i oceán. Hotel samotný nespĺňa 5* štandard. Všade je však čisto, veľké izby, veľký balkón. Bar na izbe je v cene a denne dopĺňaný. Personál veľmi milý, ochotný, pripravený reagovať na všetky požiadavky. Treba sa pripraviť na to, že "mañana" je ich spôsob života. Stále spievajú, tancujú, dokonca i počas vydávania jedla, sú hluční. Hudba znie všade a poriadne nahlas. V "pool bare" obsluhujú 2 - 3, pracuje však len jeden, aj to pomaly. Vysoká prezamestnanosť neznamená, že všetko stíhajú spraviť načas. Prostredie je čisté i v okolí bazéna, počet miest pri samotnom mori je však akútne nedostatočný. Málo dáždnikov, málo lehátok. Je nutné počítať s vetrom, niekedy aj veľmi silným, čo prispieva k vlnám, ktoré čeria piesok a vstup do mora je tak so zvíreným pieskom (7 - 10 m). Na mori sú riasy, v abnormálnom množstve, a hotely ich nestačia odpratávať. Na šnorchlovanie zabudnite, to treba ísť ku Karibskému moru. Priestor v mori, vzhľadom na silné prúdy, je limitovaný. Záver: áno, možno však v januári, s popísanými obmedzenia je nutné vopred kalkulovať.

Me encanta todo esto
Este hotel muy bueno, muy bonito, tambien Los empleados son de lo mejor, el equipo star prestige nos atienden como nadie, está és mi segunda casa por eso vengo para aca desde hace 19 año y definitivamente todas Las personas son mi família, quisera destacarlos a todos con su nombre pero no me alcansaria lá página, muchas gracias iberostar.

Esta es mi segunda casa siempre iberostar starprestige
El hotel es maravilloso 10 puntos,Desde hace 9 años soy socio del club de vacaciones starprestige y es asombroso,fantástico y espectacular el calor de la gente que aquí trabaja y todo el servicio resivido día tras días, la atención, la limpieza desde que llegó hasta el día que me voy, destacar amigos amigos entrañables que me resiven y me asisten como todo un rey durante mi estadía, randy, Kenny, feliz, génesis, George, madelin . Muchas gracias a todos por tanto

Huge disappointment after so many years of loyalty I frequent the Iberostar Waves Dominicana (formerly Iberostar Dominicana) since 2010. It was a place that I loved very much, where we ate well, where the entertainment was excellent, the evening shows with orchestra great, and where the tropical atmosphere was really felt. But this time I was deeply disappointed. I came with a friend and we were surprised by the general deterioration of the establishment. The rooms are outdated, the humidity is everywhere, the bathroom is old, and several equipment did not work: air conditioning, television... nothing was wrong. The food, once a highlight, was mediocre. No clear explanation of the dishes offered, very few local specialties. As a European, I do not come to the Dominican Republic to eat pasta and pizza every day. I expected authentic flavors of the country, as it existed before, with a corner dedicated to Dominican cuisine. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case. The staff seems demotivated, some keep smiling, others don’t, and you feel that it’s not the warm and welcoming spirit of the past. The pool has also changed: poorly cleaned, the water has turned green. The old beautiful blue pool is gone, and it is really regrettable. I understand Iberostar’s commitment to the environment with the “Waves” range, but this should not be at the expense of quality and customer experience. The tropical charm, the authenticity, everything that made this place magic, is gone. I am deeply disappointed and regrettably will not set foot in it again.
