Don’t hesitate! You’ll love it!
This is our sixth time coming here and we’re going back in March 2024! It was absolutely amazing, as usual! The rooms are very clean and well stocked. The people who work there are the just the nicest, and ever so helpful! Pools are clean, breakfast buffets are delish, and the restaurants are so so good. Went back to two of them twice. I highly recommend this all-inclusive resort to anyone looking to kick back, relax, and just let the world go by. If I were to make any suggestion at all, it would be that we saw an over abundance of coatis on this trip, especially at the beach. I’ve never seen this many before.

Relentless Iberostar Club Staff
This September, we had chosen to go to Iberostar Paraiso Lindo through WestJet Vacations. We had chosen this resort as we had been in 2018 prior, had a fantastic time and now travelling with an infant we wanted to go somewhere that was known and that we were assured we would like. However, this was not entirely the case. I will state first and foremost that the resort itself is still lovely. The rooms, the pools, lazy river, restaurants, grounds...all of that was still wonderful. But the staff there made it difficult to fully appreciate everything. The staff members running the Iberostar Club, the program where they try to meet with you to "upgrade" your travel the next time, were relentless. Right as soon as you check in, outside the buffet, bugging you at the pools. They had phoned the room at least 2-3 times a day and would not take no for an answer. With us trying to have an infant sleep, this was not great. These same people were also the ones you talked to for any reservations. We felt trapped and at the whim of these people constantly bombarding us. It became a game of the best way to dodge the workers there, as we knew we'd have to tell them for the umpteenth time that we didn't want to do it. It was exhausting and nothing like we'd ever experienced before. We know they're all just doing their jobs and we can't fault them for it, as it's their managers pushing it on us and them. But still. Because we had the wonderful luck of being down there during Hurricane Helene, the beaches were closed until the second last day of our trip and the pools were closed for the first two days. The staff informed everyone that because of the weather, they were giving away spa discounts to those interested because we couldn't do much else. When we went to the spa to inquire, they informed us that the discount was only applicable if we listened to their Iberostar Club presentation. Again, no one said anything about that prior. It ended up feeling like we were taking our vacation at a used car sales lot. When we booked the flight through our travel agent, the resort had a promotion through WestJet Vacations of a $600USD credit per room to be used on-site. This was not true at all. Everything was guarded behind their sales pitches but nothing came close to the previously advertised $600USD per room. This was a disappointment as it was clearly on our booking information with no note of saying "if you attend AB and C." This whole trip was a bit of a disappointment because of these things and we would definitely second guess travelling to Iberostar the next time we crave a Mexican vacation.

Genuine kindness and caring
We travelled to Mexico with our daughter and her 2 sons in Nov 2024. Before we left home ,we discovered that our 9 month old grandson had numerous food allergies. Our daughter , his mother, was very nervous about the food for him at a large all inclusive resort. After we arrived we came upon your food staff members ,Itzel, Maria and Daniel. All 3 of them worked in the main buffet. They were incredibly caring and helpful in getting our grandson food that was safe for him to eat. Every time we were at the buffet ,special food was prepared for him. It took so much stress away from a fantastic trip. Please let all 3 of them know how great they were. Your company is fortunate to have these kind of caring people in your organization. Thank you so much.

This is a families with kids resort
First and foremost, this is a big resort that caters mostly to families with kids. If you are looking for quiet, this is not the resort for you. The all inclusive was fine, food average at best. Service was good, staff very nice and accommodating. I would not say this is a five star resort, 3 to 4 stars. It was strange not to have food service available at the pools, there was barely drink service. Swim up bar at the Lindo was at the “sports” pool, so not great for hanging out. Lunch places were not plentiful, either the buffet or at the shopping mall. It was odd there were not more taco stands like they had at the shopping center in the complex. Easy and good but a ways away. Many restaurants closed Monday and Tuesday nights, but really they are all just iterations of the same 3, Mexican, Japanese (but not really), and Italian -Mediterranean. Room service was only available beginning at 11am, so no breakfast in room and the menu was chicken noodle soup, etc; so maybe if you’re ill it’s good. Would have been nice to have coffee delivered in the morning. All and all, good resort for families with kids at a very modest price. Water slides and games; kid friendly menus.
