3rd time still a charm - Excellent service, Best Pools!
I visited to Iberostar Lindo in November 2016 & 2017 and March 2018 for a total of 21 days at this resort. Father & son trips, we really connected with the staff, the property and what the resort had to offer. I've visited more then my share of AL resort and this one still has a top 5 finish. What you need to know : Pros : -Excellent service -Best swimming pool I've seen at a resort -Good A la carte restaurants -Very clean resort -Excellent WIFI service -Top shelf liquor available on demand. (Matusalem Cuban Rhum to Don Julio Reserve to Grand Marnier... they have it). -Very safe location Cons : -Food at the buffet needs upgrading (I even talked to the French chef at buffet during lunch many times on the 3 occasions I was there about the issue. Still saw him prepare a shrimp linguini for the GM of the resort that looked 20+ times better that what offered at the pasta station for guest. -No special treatment for returning guest. Was promised some incentives in the room that was never delivered. This was a total let down for us as we visited more then 3 time in less than 2 years Special thanks again to my friend Gloria and L. 'the barman' at the Sports bar also Karla at the lobby that served us with a smile and tried her best to give us the best the resorts had to offer (Even a super deal at the Grand). You made our stays extra special and went the extra mile to make our trips awesome. This is why we may return fir a 4th time. Room tip : Block 51

Amazing place!!
My husband and I along with our 11 year old daughter just got back home from our week vacation. This was our first time in Mexico and first all inclusive resort. Hands down exceeded our expectations. We really can’t think of one negative thing to say. The food was great. We mostly stuck to the buffets as it was easier for us wirh our daughter who is very picky. We really enjoyed the variety of food. The entertainment was awesome and so were all the staff. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The pools were huge and amazing, and we spent the majority of the time in them. The beach was beautiful!!! It was mostly red flagged most days wirh a lot of waves but honestly we didn’t mind at all and found it to be very fun. There are so many different types of animals to see which for us was a big plus! We loved goimg for walks all around and spotting them all. The grounds are beautiful, absolutely so well taken care of. Everywhere’s you look there is something to catch your eyes. This was one of the best weeks and we had a wonderful time. We will be back!!

Beautiful grounds
Pro-The grounds are beautiful. Our room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. The waitress and housekeeping were great. Children and young adults had a ball. That being said, we had problems getting around, the place is very big and noisy. Be ready to walk, there are golf carts but it was hard to get a ride on one. Hard to get reservations at restaurants for a large group and if by chance you do get one, the wait was at least an hour longer then expected, once you got there. We ended up at the buffet most everyday. Hostess' and waitress's were very accommodating. I cannot say the same at the Restautant's where you had to make reservations. I would be care about eating at the outside buffets. We had undercook hamburgers that we ended up throwing out. I would recommend staying if you have young children or if you are under 35yrs.

LGBTQ+ TRAVELERS BE WARNED: DO NOT STAY HERE.
LGBTQ+ TRAVELERS BE WARNED: DO NOT STAY HERE. I am currently staying at Iberostar Selection Playa Paraíso Lindo and feel compelled to share what has been one of the most distressing, discriminatory, and unsafe travel experiences of my life. As an LGBTQ+ guest, I was subjected to blatant discrimination on this property. When I tried to report the incident and request help, there was no visible or available security to be found. I expressed clearly and calmly that I felt unsafe — my personal safety was at risk, and I made that clear to management. Their response? They dismissed me. They told me my fear was "ridiculous" and insisted that "this is a safe place," while doing absolutely nothing to ensure my safety or take my complaint seriously. I was told someone from management would follow up. It has been all day today and I have heard nothing. The message is clear: they do not care about LGBTQ+ guests. I travel frequently, and I have never felt so vulnerable, unwelcome, and ignored by a resort claiming to be inclusive and accommodating. This is not just a hospitality failure — this is a human rights failure. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, or if you value safety, empathy, and basic human dignity, stay far away from this resort. There are plenty of beautiful places in Mexico and beyond that will welcome you with respect. This is not one of them. Shame on Iberostar for allowing this to happen and for choosing apathy in the face of discrimination.

Great time!
The shows and costumer service was great. It was fun for the whole family and there is so much to do everyday. The hotels were nice and the pool and the beach are so relaxing and great. Valeria on the entertainment team was very nice and she told us to go to the shows every night and it was worth it!
