Feb 20, 2025Great Experience, Very Accommodating Staff
My wife and I visited Hyatt Vivid Grand Island on a recent vacation to Cancun. We had an absolutely lovely time there. The food was great, the staff was excellent, and the accommodations were wonderful. I'm a competitive Ironman triathlete from the states. The staff - especially Orlando - was helpful and diligent when I made a few special requests when using their facilities to train. For example, I asked if I could switch the pedals on one of their Peloton bikes with my own clipless bike pedals, and Orlando helped me obtain a few specialty wrenches to do the work. I asked him early in the week for help with this favor and expected to be turned down, but he went out of his way to make sure that I had what I needed. The hotel is located next to a beautiful golf course away from the main road on the hotel zone. It was a wonderful location to walk (or run) without battling traffic from the main road. It's a newly constructed building with nice features. My wife and I stayed there with two other couples and everyone had a great time.

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. Very comfortable. Nice roomy balcony. Variety of very good restaurants with large portions. The beach area is located about a 10 minute shuttle ride away. Quite a selection of drinks and wait staff is helpful and friendly. Margaritas are ok as the quality of tequila could be a little betterTwo beautiful pools with group aerobics and other activities throughout the day. The music is a bit loud and is played all day. But the staff leads activities very well so always something to do at poolside.

Amazing food & service
Fresco ceviche was the best ceviche we’ve ever had! Guadalupe and Jesus treated us with the upmost care! They made us feel so welcome and really cared about how we liked their wonderful food. Please come here and try the aguachile negro - it was to die for! Definitely can’t wait to come back. All the staff was amazing- you won’t regret staying here.

FRESCO CEVICHE ALLLL DAY LONG!
Hyatt Vivid - Fresco Ceviche… TOP NOTCH! You will NOT find better in Cancun. My husband and I have eaten here twice this week. Service from Jesus and Chef Guadalupe - unforgettable. Don’t stay here without frequenting this gem! We will definitely be here tomorrow tooooo! Cheers!

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience at this resort!! Jesus' service was amazing and we ate Gaudalupe was cooking!! His ceviche and and tacos were just perfect. Will absolutely be back!! The rooms were clean and just epecect. Drinks were great. Service was exceptional!!
