Exceptional Stay at Hyatt Regency Waikīkī!

I had a fantastic stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikīkī! The hospitality was outstanding, and every staff member was professional and welcoming. I’d like to give a special mention to Eva, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort by keeping me in the same room for both of my reservations—such a thoughtful gesture! The spa experience was incredible; the massage was one of the best I’ve ever had. The hotel’s location, amenities, and stunning views made my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and luxurious experience in Hawaii

Pleasant experience

Smooth check-in and checkout. Hyatt club was busy but staff was working hard and doing a great job. My room was cleaned by a nice woman Sam. She was pleasant and did a great job. Checking out towels through the vending machine was easy as was borrowing chairs for the beach. Nice job all around.

Best spa experience

Spa was exceptional. Massage and reception were great. it’s located perfectly with plenty of great stores and coffee places. Not too far from the beach three minute walking distance. I will definitely be here again. Next trip to Hawaii, if I am staying in Oahu. Needed relaxing time, spa was also perfect. They had great shower and amenities as well. Will definitely stay here again

Disappointed

The property needs a major rehab. The carpet and furniture need replacing desperately. I expected much better from Hyatt. The location is great. There is currently construction of a new building behind the Hyatt going on that starts early in the morning which doesn’t help.

Resort fees are a way of cheating on the actual rate!

The Hyatt is a really nice hotel with a friendly staff and great amenities. My biggest gripe is the $60 per day resort fee. It does not reflect the true cost of the hotel and puts other hotels who are not charging a resort fee at a disadvantage because the true cost of the room per night is not reflected in the quoted price. It's basically cheating. Shame on the Hyatt! It will never change if people complain.
