May 02, 2025Absolutely wonderful place to stay
You really can't say enough about this hotel. Truly a marvelous and relaxing experience from start to finish. The valet attendants and front desk clerks were super friendly and chatty. The lobby and elevators were always spotless and clean. The room itself was immaculate. Couldn't find a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. The mattress and sheets were so comfy that I wanted to take a 3-hour nap LOL. The WiFi speeds were blazing at over 100 Mbps. Lots of premium movie channels available on the TV. However, there is so much to do at this hotel that you feel kinda dumb for just staying in the room. The grotto pool is so fun to relax in while that scorching hot Florida sun gives you a nice tan! I really enjoyed the strawberry and blueberry pancakes at the B-Line Diner. The only real downside to this hotel is that it gets really busy in the summer with all the conventions and tourists, so be aware of that.

May 01, 2025Not the best, not the worse.
Stayed at the Hyatt for our wedding anniversary. The studio suite was nice but the living area couch was in such bad shape. What a disappointment! Had to use throw pillow under our legs to be able to sit comfortably. Check in and valet were great. Could not find a lounge chair (coincidentally they were 10 around the bottom of the waterslide but who wants to lay there?) anywhere as well as no pool attendant. Shameful that there was so much real estate and not enough chairs for their guests. The Terrace pool was meh. Don't expect anything there. The bed was very comfortable and the location was good. If I had to choose between Hyatt Grand Orlando and the Hyatt Grand Cypress, I would take the Cypress.

Good for business
This is a great hotel for a business stay. The desk and lighting were conducive to work. There’s a Keurig in your room so you can bring whatever kind of coffee you want or just use theirs. You can even get in a decent workout before you start your workday. It’s convenient to all the restaurants on international Drive

Gorgeous views but the details...
The building was gorgeous and very spacious. Food service was prompt but some of the food was not cooked fully and had ingredients that were not listed on the menu. They did comp the food but it was still unpleasant. The main floor pool was very filthy with food Band-Aids and garbage in it. The 4th floor pool was pristine! Staff was very pleasant and worked to address needs but overall I might go somewhere else next time I'm in Orlando.

Amazing
The bed was incredibly comfortable, the sheets were fresh and clean, and the customer service was outstanding. Although the elevators were out of service for a day, the staff was transparent, communicative, and handled the situation with professionalism. The hotel was in excellent condition throughout from the well-maintained gym to prompt and reliable room service. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area.
