The hotel was beautiful and the location simply cannot be beat! Set along the Promenade des Anglais and only an 8 minute walk from Place Masséna, this was the perfect place to stay for the Carnaval de Nice. Would recommend to everyone and cannot wait to come back in the future!

The best hotel stay we have had!
As a family of four who have traveled extensively and stayed in numerous 5-star and 6-star establishments worldwide—especially in Asia—we all agree that this was the best stay we have ever had. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and our connecting rooms were spotlessly clean, equipped with everything we could possibly need for our three-night stay. Room service was delivered promptly and was delicious. The steam room, pool, and sauna were just what we needed to wash away our travel weariness. Housekeeping should be highly commended, as the entire hotel was immaculate. Returning to our room after a day out was an absolute pleasure. The blackout curtains and the peace and quiet of the room made it easy to sleep at any time of day or night. The concierge was pleasant and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast or dine in the restaurant, so we cannot comment on those experiences. Thank you, Hyatt, for making a small part of our big trip a delight. Every 5-star establishment should strive for your excellence.

Great stay. Highly recommend
Great location , food , service and room Free waters in room. Beds were super comfortable. Breakfast was a great buffet Response to needs were met quickly View from room was great as well. Lobby was pretty. Right next to the promenade. Nice cafes nearby.

Perfect choice for Nice!
I carefully researched which hotel for this trip and was not disappointed by my choice, in fact hotel exceeded my expectations, which is rare. Usually I stay with family but this time wanted to stay downtown to enjoy more of the city, hence perfect - great location, easy to walk everywhere, enjoy sea views and atmosphere of the famous Promenade des Anglais. We felt very welcomed on check-in. I had booked partial sea-view, had asked for high floor with best view possible (I only have lowish Hyatt status) so was extremely happy when we were upgraded to full sea-view on 9th floor which is the top. Lovely private balcony with 2 chairs, very comfortable large bedroom and bathroom. Although decor throughout the hotel feels a little dated (which is almost charming), it is spotless and provides everything you need, including multi-plugs (with USB) and complimentary water which is generously replenished. As the hotel is set back from the facade, it is quiet. The breakfast is excellent in terms of quality (best French pastries/breads) and choice with welcoming, efficient, friendly, smiling service. The weather wasn't great except last day of departure. Such a pity as I can imagine it would have been lovely to sit outside on the terrace where the restaurants/bar & pool is situated on the 3rd floor. Next visit to Nice.... the Hyatt beckons!

Outstanding Service
This is a lovely hotel and you can't beat the view, beds, linens and everything else is comfortable, even luxurious. But the staff went above and beyond to help me when I developed a medical problem -- arranging taxi service to and from the ER (twice!) and checking on me to make sure I was OK. As an older woman traveling alone, I was extremely grateful for their assistance and concern. Also, dinner at the restaurant was great and I enjoyed the selection of wines.
