Great location in downtown Miami and helpful staff.
Excellent location in downtown Miami. We stayed here only for a day with kids but the walk to the free metromover was great as we used it to visit the Science Museum and then the to the Brickell center in evening for dinner. Room was great and staff was helpful.

Nothing changes at Miami Hyatt
I’ve been to this Hyatt many times over the years and it is only gone downhill. The rooms are outdated. The furniture and carpet is on the disgusting side. The balconies are crumbling, and the doors are now locked so you can’t get access to them. if the balconies are crumbling that begs a question is the hotel In structural decay? The housekeeping staff was on point. The staff at the small café downstairs was on point and the bartender was on point the front desk staff did not acknowledge that I was a Hyatt member after telling them when I checked in and cares given was zero. I think this hotel is always booked because it’s an airline and tourist hotel and they really could care less one way or another if you stay there or not. Again that’s just my opinion after years of staying there and seeing it not change. And if you’re with a group, don’t expect to get credit for your nights stayed as you would in a Hilton or Marriott

This place is a hard pass!
This hotel is dated and not worth the price! As a Globalist I was surprised of the dated room with cottage cheese ceilings and mismatched tiled bar tub from the 70s which was provided to me at $400+ /night! Next time a Hyatt place for less and better accommodations!

Convenient stay
It's not the most modern hotel I've visited, but the lobby is huge, our room was quite spacious, and it's in a great location. We arrived around noon and paid $10 for early check-in, which is quite reasonable. The area can be quite noisy at times, and the hotel provides a white noise device to help with that, although we didn't find it necessary.
