I stayed at the Hyatt in Brisbane on business for 4 nights. The good stuff: it’s in a great location, on Queen Street, close to the CBD and river. The bar is a nice touch with a terrace by the pool. Service, is friendly enough, if a little disinterested. The meh: I was in an accessibility room which I didn’t need so lack a bath and felt soulless. The breakfast food is plentiful but bland, lacking seasoning or much flavour. The dietary options are dreadful: it was suggested I could have some boring pasta option or a side salad and side plate of potatoes and carrots for my dinner. So while I hear Brisbane hotel standards aren’t great, look at other options before this one.

Perfect position for city experience. Comfortable, friendly helpful staff, nice food. Reception experience was quick and easy. Check out simple. Breakfast plenty of variety presented well and fresh. Close to everything in the city and Southbank

Best hotel experience in years - perfect room, beds, pillows - slept so well. Lovely bathroom and products But it’s the whole hotel and staff and vibe + rooftop pool and bar which completes the overall experience. Didn’t want to leave! Outstanding hotel and stay.

Location - Great for Business Trip
This is my go to hotel when visiting Brisbane for work. Convenient location easy walk - retail therapy and restaurants. Not far from train station if coming from Brisbane airport. Coffee shop is hectic seating and decor needs a refresh. Take out a Hyatt Membership well worth it.

Overall a nice experience
The location is good and service overall was very good. The entrance is very different from what one would expect for a 5 star hotel. It is on a small and narrow lane way. I wonder whether the original entrance was on Queen street which is now closed to traffic. The room size is is nice. I had the view of the river and the casino. That was very nice especially at night. The corridor , however, is not what I expect of a 5-star hotel. The infinity Swimming pool was nice but is on the small side. Good range of Gym equipment which were in very good condition. There is no club lounge. Instead, Tasting plate was provided in the bar. The service there was very good. However, it is not the same as having a club lounge. Breakfast has the usual variety. I was not offered barista coffee by the staff at the counter on my first day. The second day, I was offered coffee. It seems to be dependent on the server. Overall, I had a positive experience.
