Apr 30, 2025A lovely anniversary however a few downfalls
Customer service was great and so was the facilities and food. Definitely recommend the berry smoothie during the breakfast service. They even added a nice little touch for my anniversary by leaving a treat for us in the room upon arriving. However cleanliness was a little bit disappointing, when I went for a shower the morning after our check in I noticed there was a stain in front of the toilet that looked as if someone had missed their mark. As well as that there was quite a few yellow stains on both the carpet and the curtains. We did have a bit of a scare with a staff member who was in the room and the door being locked behind her. You can imagine our shock when we were trying to get in after a lovely session at the spa and we were locked out for a few minutes only to be greeted by a staff quickly exiting with no explanation

Great hotel and staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble. We had no robes in our room for the spa and as soon as we called down to reception, house keeping were there with two robes within 5 mins. The spa and pool were excellent with everything you could possibly need.

Beautiful hotel with great service
Beautiful hotel and the staff were amazing, especially Gaby on reception. The regency club was an added bonus although some people emptied the snacks and drinks and then wasted it by not eating it or drinking it. The room was large and the bed very comfy. I had a problem with the plumbing which was resolved very quickly and professionally. I really cannot fault the quality of the staff. Well done Birmingham Hyatt.

Club Access is a Must!
A fantastic hotel in the heart of Birmingham. We stayed in a King room with club access on the 22nd floor which had amazing views. Club access was fantastic and well worth the additional charge. A special shoutout to Isabelle in the Regency Club whose service was outstanding! We enjoyed canapés and Prosecco and watched the sun go down, it was a perfect evening. The bedroom itself was very comfortable but I think would be improved with a nespresso machine, the coffee quality was poor for this level of hotel. My only other gripe was the sound proofing of the rooms, our neighbors were up talking until 1am and we could hear every word. That said, the super king bed was very cosy and we loved the room. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice on offer and the atrium was a lovely space to sit and enjoy it. Overall, the Hyatt is nearly exceptional. My favorite Birmingham hotel is The Grand, I think this would be the best in brum if the coffee was better and sound proofing improved.

Best breakfast in Brum
Best hotel in Birmingham! Huge comfy beds, book a higher floor for amazing views. Breakfast is outstanding - unlock the secret menu and ask for pancakes, waffles, sourdough avocado or eggs royal. Masud will look after you - he is incredibly attentive. Thanks all! We will be back.
