    Great customer service

Fantastic stay and spa. Even though the check in was delayed, we were offered an upgrade and the receptionist customer service was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of tasty and healthy options. Thank you for our stay

    Terrible hotel - AVOID

This is NOT a luxury hotel. The breakfast is a rip off over 30 pounds each with the service charge. Room was tired, old and shabby, smelt terrible. I left my phone and charger in the room by accident after checking out. Which apparently had vanished and no one from the hotel had bothered to call me back. Avoid this hotel like the plague.

A most wonderful stay and superb service and staff members.

Truly a wonderful and refreshing experience! I'm only sad that our visit was so short, but the hotel is fantastic and everyone that works there is very good at what they do and exceptionally friendly and helpful! We want to return to Birmingham again soon so that we can stay at the Hyatt Regency while we are there. A great stay to say the least!

    Such Nice People

Probably this is the friendliest hotel in the city of Birmingham. Everyone from the car park staff through to reception and hospitality are always warm, happy and courteous. Enjoyed another fabulous stay. A big thank you to Gab on check in. Michael

Average room, great staff, great food

Stayed for a night out with the wife after going to see Peter Kay. The hotel lobby is lovely, staff friendly and attentive & the breakfast was superb! The room however was not what I expected for £266 for a high floor canal view room. The room was late being available and we had to wait till after 4pm to be checked in. This was due to the room not being cleaned on time… Clearly it was a rushed clean, the floor wasn’t cleaned very well and appeared to not have been hoovered very well. The bathroom tiles were loose under the sink and there was no hand soap! Behind the chair in the bedroom was a half used bottle of ‘JEKONMO’ can tonic - god knows what that was for but confirmed the room had not been cleaned properly. On the way down to breakfast in the morning we had an unfortunate encounter with two half dressed “ladies of the night”, mid way through attempting to leave without being noticed. Awkward! Over all great food, great staff, poorly cleaned and tired looking room that needs an upgrade / modernisation.
