Cabarete has been long been touted as a windsport mecca due to the 300 days of wind per year historically bestowed upon the town. Thanks to the trade winds, the coral reef, and the mountains in the background that come together to create a unique and awesome
thermal effect, the easterly blowing wind is almost always strong, consistent, and side on-shore. That is why we have a Windsport Center located directly on the beach in front of our hotel.
Rafting: Discover rapids unknown to most in the waters of the Yaque del Norte River, the longest in the Caribbean. Basic gear and food included.
