Very nice hotel. Staff was exceptional. Outside attendants and valets were welcoming as were lobby personnel. Reception at check-in and check-out was quick and friendly. My room was clean, nice size, comfortable; housekeeping was phenomenal. I stayed four nights in March 2025 (was in Guadalajara for a wedding). The café was well stocked with many different refrigerated drinks and had a nice selection of delicious sandwiches, salads, desserts and pastries as well as coffees and teas. The restaurant staff was very nice. Menu choices looked really good. I only had one meal there. Two of us ordered the mushroom raviolis for dinner. Unfortunately, it must have been an “off” night because the raviolis were very much undercooked. It also took a long time (about 40 minutes) to be brought to our table; I have to say that the restaurant was full, so that might have been the reason for the long wait, which I actually did not mind. I would’ve gone back to the restaurant again but friends and I did other things during the day that took us away from the hotel. There is a small gift shop that had nice souvenirs. At the very top of the building, nice area with bar as well as great views. I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Very grateful to all the staff for their attention
Very well located, spacious rooms, mattresses do not heal as comfortable as I expected, all staff are very friendly and attentive, food in the lobby bar is very good, food in the cafe is not as rich and is very very expensive.

Great breakfast
Came back to stay Riu Plaza Guadalajara after almost 10 years. The breakfast buffet is still probably one of the best I ever have around the world. Smooth check in/check out, good laundry service, house keeping is timely... It was an excellent stay for my business trip back to GDL
