Feb 03, 2025It's missing the 'Riu'
Having stayed in riu hotels for a number of years now (became my favourite brand) in my experiences this is the first one in which I have had a genuine disappointment that said the place is very clean, staff ultra friendly, but it just lacks the riu touch we have become acustomed to why you ask ' it's the little things no mini bar in room , lack of waiters around pool areas, lack of waiters around bars , first one I have come across with no tvs playing sports, very limited brands on drinks, the day time snack bar is just that a very basic short menu , the main dining buffet really does lack the rui touch , half of the selections we have had in other riu hotels, this in my humble opinion is a 3 star at best , nice location just really does need to add the extras in which we associate with the riu brand

Well what a wonderful holiday we had at this gorgeous hotel. The room was very clean. The staff cleaned it every day which was fabulous. In fact the whole place is spotless!

Riu Paraiso 16 Jan/30 Jan Very Good hotel poor dining/drinks
Just retuned from 2 weeks at RIU Paraiso and found the hotel to be great as follows rooms 5/5 hotel 5/5 staff 5/5 pools 5/5 /grounds 5/5 food 3/5 breakfast and lunch same for 14 days no change little fruit not always hot POOR dinner same as breakfast and lunch other than a different roast every night Dinning hall like a school canteen hundred hotel too small for a 500 room hotel always full of ignorant people pushing in and not waiting there turn and no branded drinks poor quality

Great stay
First time staying here and it definitely won’t be the last. Probably the cleanest hotel we’ve stayed in, attention to detail was first class. Food was excellent, plenty to choose from and something for everyone. Was very busy when we were there but always found a table. The staff really work their socks off, with a smile for everyone. No problem getting a sunbed at any time of day.

Great hotel would definitely book again
The hotel was clean, as was the room and all of the pool areas. It was also in a great location. The staff were efficient and very friendly. The food in all of the restaurants was lovely and we really enjoyed the entertainment. All in all a fabulous holiday experience!
