This was our tenth visit to monica nerja. We just keep coming back! As ever we totally enjoyed our stay and the food and service continues to keep its high standard. Staff are always friendly and helpful.

Home from home
Just completed another visit to the Monica and as usual no complaints whatsoever, we really enjoyed our visit. It is very difficult to find fault with this first class hotel. Staff, food, cleanliness are all first class. Just wish we had been stopping for the Christmas & New Year festivities. Will be back.

Have recently returned from yet another great holiday at the Monica, everything was great as usual apart from the fact that the 3 t.v English channels which we have had for years, including on my visit in march, are no longer available. Several people I spoke to felt a bit let down as it was something which we enjoyed on a dark winter's night if we didn't enjoy hotel entertainment. I was told it was to do with Brexit,

We have just arrived at the Rui Monica and it is just as other guests have said. Great location, very smart amd the food excellent. However, as we are here to celebrate Xmas, we are really disappointed with the festive arrangements. Other than many poinsettias dotted around, a sad looking Xmas tree and some really strange neon type plastic trees there is nothing to make the hotel look Christmassy. There are no decorations in the drinks lounge or the restaurant On gala night on Xmas day we'll be sitting in a room that looks like a staff canteen. Hardly worth the sequins and tux we planned to wear Even reception agreed the decorations are poor. It won't spoil our holiday but it is disappointing

Excellent location, great team of dedicated professionals- Always with smile. The best experience ever! We will definitely be back. RIU owners must be proud of the team they have in this hotel.
