Feb 23, 2026Oceanfront All Inclusive Resort Stay in Puerto Vallarta
I visited the Hilton Vallarta Riviera All-Inclusive Resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my mom and we loved it. Our balcony overlooked the pool and beach, the ocean views were amazing. There were a variety of pools to hangout by, including an infinity pool and an adults only pool. We took a fun floating paddleboard yoga class which was a great experience. We loved the seafood options at Cocomar. We got the Enclave experience for dinner at Maxal which was my favorite restaurant on property. I love how well the resort balances family and adult activities and areas across the resort. We visited El Malecón for souvenirs, which the hotel called a taxi for us. If you love great food this resort has amazing options. If you want to spend 3-4 days at an all inclusive resort with beautiful views, this is the spot. This resort has impeccable service and a beautiful oceanfront location I can't wait to return to!

Cocomar Seafood restaurant
Chef Adrian made several dishes of fish that we had caught that morning that were excellent. Frederico and Armando did an excellent job making the dining experience top notch.

Pros- nice (mostly) private beach, incredibly kind and helpful staff Cons- transparent glass bathroom window into the hotel room, sliding barn door was also frosted glass. Zero privacy. Automatic hard pass! (The hotel pics don't show the glass bathroom doors, or the large window between the bathroom and bedroom.)

Great location, all rooms ocean view, good beach, friendly staff. The hotel overall is ok and not as luxury as pictures might suggest. The rooms are clean, tile floor, the decor and closet/drawer/tables are outdated, but clean and practical nonetheless. The bathrooms have glass door for toilet which is not good for privacy at all, and no sound proofing like a closed door, so it will get awkward depending. (I have seen that trend in another hilton as well in Montreal, and I have no idea why these hotels are going away from proper doors for hotel bathrooms to this 'open concept' ish bathroom model. Quality of food and buffet are above average, but not excellent. Variety of choices and friendly staff make up for any shortcoming. Overall a pleasant food experience, but adjust your expectations accordingly. Taxi to hotel should cost around $40-$50 from airport for a group of 6 people, and travel to downtown and back should be about $25 each way for a group of 6 people (larger van). The beach is fantastic, has separated area with the rocks that keep the water calm in front of the hotel, so kids and adults can play in ocean water without worry of being dragged into the ocean by the currents etc. I will definitely go back to the hotel but will adjust my expectations accordingly.
