It has kids club so they take care our three kids and we could have free time without kids. First two day was cloudy and humid,b but last two day was sunny and nice. I did not expect high quality food since it is all inclusive, vut food was better than what I expected. Room itself is not new and might need maintenance.

Phenomenal stay, with a slight catch
Overall, a fantastic stay for our Puerto Vallarta vacation! We were traveling with our best friends, and doing this all-inclusive made it much easier. The staff here is very friendly and attentive. Aside from the included meals and drinks, they have local pastries in the lobby you can snag on your way to grab a taxi or Uber into town. A ride to Zona Romantica takes about 15-20 minutes and is $5-10 USD before tip (Uber XL). We went to Cocomar several times and really enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet at Seasalt was also delicious: chilaquiles and eggs available every day! The adults only area was appreciated and stayed quiet. Great for reading and sunbathing to the sounds of the Pacific Ocean. Beverage service was frequent and prompt. The only notable drawback was the sushi restaurant. From being seated to getting food, it took 90 minutes. And this was happening to every table. The menu didn’t have appetizers and we were not offered sake or Japanese beer (we spotted both across the room after we had already ordered drinks). Then when we did receive our food, several of our rolls ended up on each other’s plates. (Fortunately, we’re close enough friends that that didn’t matter to us.) The waitstaff then hurried us out by picking up our dishes a few bites before we were done. The sushi itself was fine, but not exceptional. Management needs to either fix the sushi restaurant workflow so they can deliver in a reasonable timeframe, or scrap it and replace it with something else. Despite the sushi debacle, everything else was great. We would definitely stay at this property again.

My friends and I had a great vacation at the Hilton, with a few minor setbacks. Details below. Short version – would I go again – Yes! I think you get great value for money spent. Pros: -The staff were all wonderful. They were very friendly, professional, and earnestly tried to ensure we were having a good time. I want to especially thank Blanca, Yareli, Saol, and Hugo! They were all so fun to talk to and greatly added to our experience with their positive energy. Blanca is the hardest working woman I’ve ever met – you rock, Blanca!! Yareli made casino night so much fun, and Hugo and Saol were cracking us up during water aerobics. You all deserve a raise!! 😊 Additionally, I don’t remember all the names of the wait staff, but every meal had excellent service, thank you so much. 🙇♀️ -Location was perfect, right on the beach, rooms overlooking the ocean, and a short/cheap Uber ride to the Malecon. The property was very clean and well kept. -We did not have kids with us, so we were worried about being overrun by them, but it wasn’t bad. Some kids around, but not crazy. Might be worse during school breaks. -We were there for the Super Bowl, and the hotel went all out to make it fun. They had a nice outdoor area with several big-screen TVs, decorations, lots of food/drinks, and cheerleaders roaming around. -Shows and performers – Great shows in the evening and talented performers throughout. Various acrobats/bands/singers/pianists/dancers, etc. and all we saw were very good. We really enjoyed having a band performing during the day while we were relaxing in the pool, it was very nice. -Food was good and had many vegan and gluten-free options! I really appreciated that. Cons: -In the evening, there were not enough dancing options!!! They had silent disco twice, which was nice, but the other nights there was no music. I was very disappointed that the website advertises a DJ, but there was no DJ to be found. ☹ -Hot tubs – We checked the two hot tubs every day and they were barely lukewarm, not hot at all. We asked to make them hotter, but were told no. -Drinks were pretty weak, so we just constantly asked to make them double. -Food-related: Gluten-free bread in the little packages were terrible. Like eating sawdust. The wait for our food in the sushi restaurant was very long, over an hour (only time we had to wait long for food) and the chairs in that restaurant were very hard and uncomfortable.

Recently stayed one week at the Hilton Puerto Vallarta Resort the views are spectacular and the staff do their best to make sure you are having a great time. The room was good - I stayed in the enclave master ocean front suite. The room was nice, and big the second bathroom was huge. I could not understand why the patio off the bedroom did not have patio furniture. One was in the sun and the other was in the shade. It was couch and to move the couch as a solo traveler was not happening. Would I stay on the Enclave section again, probably not. The upgraded mini bar was a joke it was the same as the rest and only got two small bottles of wine - that was the upgrade. No hard liquor in the mini bar only beer, pop, water, and juice. Not sure what was upgraded. Part of Enclave you do get premuim liquor during happy hour in the lounge, not sure why they can’t serve it all the time. You were able to get Belvedere vodka in lobby bar and at the pool. It was nice to go to the lounge for breakfast, and the egg station was good. The food at this resort does need some major help with flavouring. The Mexican restaurant food had no flavour, l went to the steak house, first time going bought a bottle of wine and received a filet and then next sitting I went I asked for filet and I did not receive a filet and did not order a bottle of wine. I asked the server and he said it was a filet. Friends I was with even said it was not a filet. The Italian restaurant was the best restaurant but still lacking flavour. The did have nightly entertainment in lobby. The pools where do we start - the adults pool did not get full sun until late around 2 pm. How the hotel is designed makes this a challenge for anyone wanting to worship the sun. Make sure to go to Skybar for the sunset. One thing missing was music at SkyBar. Omar, Juan, Daniel - pool staff and Andre in the Italian restaurant were amazing. I did advise of the food was lacking with flavour when checked out and about the steak situation but they did not seem to care. I felt this hotel is more a corporate hotel with no Mexican feel. Don’t forget to get up early to reserve your pool lounger. I would rate this hotel 3 out of 5.

Kids Club is the best...
Our second year at this resort and it loved up to our trip last year. The kids club team of Yareli, Fatima, and Galilea were excellent. Our kids loved going to the club each day for various activities, both inside and outside. Just lovely people. And that also goes for the entire report. Food is great as well.
