Feb 20, 2025Best Off Property Location
Stayed at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista Palace back in September for my birthday trip. Chose this hotel for the convenience of getting to and from the parks as well as to Disney Springs. The walk to Disney Springs was quick and easy as the hotel is right across the street. Getting to the parks in the morning was also a breeze because of the shuttle bus. A lot of hotels in the Disney area say they have shuttles to Disney, but have them at very select times and don’t tell you until after you book/arrive. I love how I was given hourly options for the shuttle bus here. I swear, we parked our car and didn’t touch it until we checked out at the end of our stay. As a Hilton Honors member I was able to pick what floor and room. We chose a high floor with a balcony with views of the resort pool and Disney Springs. The view was amazing we could see the fire at rainforest cafe, and partial views of the Epcot light show every night. The front desk staff was very nice and there were no issues upon check in. The staff by the pool area was also nice, we stayed on a weekend with bad weather and they were very respectful and had the safety of their guests in mind. My only issue was the room. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest hotel bathroom i’ve been in. I was constantly seeing hair that was not mine. ( I have long, thick, curly black hair and the hair I was finding was blonde.) There also looked to be mold at the top of the walls. I didn’t notice it until our last day, and overall I really liked the location of our room so I let it go. I wasn’t sick after the stay so I also figured maybe it wasn’t mold, just dirt, and wasn’t a big deal. Would stay again for the convenience, but would be more vocal about the state of the room.

Feb 19, 2025Extremely disappointed!!!!!
2nd SLEEPLESS NIGHT !!!! Last night, we couldn't sleep until after midnight due to this noise. The noise is unbearable - people shouting and laughing so loudly at the bar it sounds literally!!!!! like they're partying in our room. All room corridors in all floors overlook the bar, which amplifies the sound throughout the building. called the front desk yesterday but nothing was done. Now I'm facing a second night of insomnia, doing my very best to stay cool I won't waste my time calling reception again since it was ineffective yesterday. I can't wait to leave this hotel so I can finally get some sleep. This will definitely be my first and last stay here. It definitely ruined out family holidays This is our 1st and undoubtedly the last stay in this property

Worst hotel stay of my life, left early and drove 2 hours home to avoid staying another night
Unfortunately I was only able to get one night at the Grand Floridian for the conference I was at. I have silver status with Hilton honors and have had pretty good experiences around the world with Hilton properties. The first night, from 7 pm to just after 12 am the lobby bar so was so loud that even on the 14th floor I heard so much noise that I kept getting woken up. When they finally dispersed the crowd, there was a screaming baby that kept me up most of the night and woke me up early. I left the hotel in the morning to drive to the conference and I got there late because there was a line of 10 cars trying to get out with their key cards likely with the same issue I had that they key card for self parking didn't work even though they charged $35 per night plus tax to park a good distance away from the entrance. I got back around 6 pm and no one had been in my room to replace towels or do any sort of service. The lobby bar was already super loud so I decided to leave early and drive 2 hours home on a Sunday night so I wouldnt take the chance of another poor night of sleep. The front desk person asked why I was leaving early and I told her what happened and she asked if I wanted to speak to her manager but I had a two hour drive home so I just wanted to get ouf of there so she said he would follow up with me at the number on my hilton account and confirmed the number. It is now 2 days later and no one has reached out. During the trip, I got a text message about my experience and I had messaged back that things were not going well and they comped my parking and gave me a $15 credit on my bill of nearly $700 but really should have not charged me for the second night but I had no interest in delaying my drive home from this horrible experience. I would not recommend this hotel at all, probably my only 1 star review ever. The fact that I was told someone would call me and didn't was the nail in the coffin for me to tell other trip advisor followers my honest experience.

We have stayed at this great location numerous times. Perfect location, great service and best hotel food. We called today to check on our reservation. there appeared to be a problem but the front desk person Sofia was spectacular. She did hesitate a minute to provide top notch cutomer service. Our reservations were addressed and she was extremely kind. Management you've got a keeper on your hands.

Wonderful experience
Hotel was beautiful. Pool/ bar was relaxing. Food at the bar was very good. They have a lazy river pool and multiple pools and hot tub. It was clean and everyone was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Walk to Disney Springs. Would highly recommend
