I was here for a large conference and checked in while another large conference was checking out. The lady checking me in wasn’t very helpful and definitely wasn’t sincere in her attempt to provide service. She checked me in and said I’d get a text when the room was ready, so I waited and waited… took up a spot in the lobby and worked for a few hours and then a co-worker who checked in after me said he got the text, he went and waited in the long line to get his key. I decided to wait for the text, especially since the line was so long. Then later on, I noticed people coming in over the past hour were getting rooms and other co-workers told me to go check, as rooms are being issued. I did and this same lady gave me a key to my room. Right when I got into the room, I got the text that the room was ready. That’s ridiculous! The room was basic and rundown… it’s in dire need of being refurbished too. The TV is antiquated technology and doesn’t even have an HDMI so I could plug into it. There’s even a DVD player in the room, which is odd, given they’re pretty much no longer popular options for watching movies these days. The bed was OK, but not very comfy, it needs to be replaced. The outlets next to the bed didn’t work. The carpet wasn’t very clean. The bathroom was old and in need of being refurbished too. The tub didn’t have the drain plug in it, so the drain was wide open. The shower pressure and drain worked great though. One of the most annoying things was that there was a huge open atrium and this room was along the walk way overlooking the lobby 10 floors below. Even though I was 10 floors up, each night I could hear the roar from the bar way below and all the people talking. It was so very loud even in my room. The conference area had a musty smell. We were there for a conference, which was onsite and many attendees made comments about the smell. Overall, I’d definitely not stay here again.

***Check your receipts!
*** check your receipts carefully, this place will triple charge you room tax and fees. Hotel is nice. Rooms are good. Mine had a little balcony with lake view, morning and midday sun. Hotel layout is a little bit cryptic. In house restaurants and food are average and limited.

Terrible Check in
Check in process is terrible. Sat in the lobby with about 50 other guests for over an hour waiting for rooms to become available. Checkout is at 11 and you can’t have rooms turned over by 4? Too many nicer hotels in the area to even consider this one again.

great pre cruise stop
This hotel is ideally placed for Disney and other venues - but it is a worthy destination in its own right. Staff were friendly, there is onsite parking which you pay per night to use, and there is good food available. The main food options are either the takeout area on the lower floor which serves very good sandwiches but much more and caters for all meals, or the sit down restaurant on the same floor. Food is good and you can choose to either eat buffet set rate or by individual items - which means that it is cheaper to go al a carte if you want only a small amount. The room was good and ours had views of the fireworks at both Epcot and Magic Kingdom - they were a distance away but still impressive. Overall this was a clean hotel with a lot going for it including a pool complex with lazy river and a gym, concierge etc.

Cool stay
Great stay overall. The hotel was SLAMMED with cheer competition. Room was clean and fresh. We did have an AC issue the second night after returning to our room after dinner. I called the front desk and literally in 5 mins a technician arrived and reset it in 2 mins. Thank you. My only serious complaint was the hogging of pool chairs being saved. We went to the pool on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 and 80% had towels already on them. This is something that must be addressed and most of the chairs were empty until almost 11am. Saturday was not as bad but still a problem.
