Nice Hilton. Very close to parking for the cruise terminals. Room is nice and big. Nice bathroom with a traditional tub for shower. Very close to restaurants and the riverwalk. It’s a big property with 2 buildings of rooms. Front desk staff is not the friendliest would be my only complaint

If you are a light sleeper don’t choose a river view room in the high rise section. Freight trains creep past all night blowing their horn at ear splitting level as the numerous pedestrian crossings have no signal barriers. The hotel is dated, but fit for purpose. I would not choose it if returning for pleasure, but it was comfortable for my needs on business. Location is good.

Amazing Customer Service!!!
I visited the Hilton Riverside and from the moment I walked in I was greeted by Donny G. who was extremely helpful and provided me with so much information to make my stay in New Orleans very enjoyable. Oh and he got me caught up on all of the amazing benefits of the Hilton Honors benefits.

CeCe M. What a personality!! Thank you for your beautiful work ethic. She took care of us. She’s walked us through the vacation plans that fit our lifestyle. She took care of us. My husband and I can’t wait to use our points and travel to Daytona Beach!

Feb 09, 2025Terrible hotel; there has to be a better option.
Ordered room service and it was never delivered. Called to check on it and no one answered. Called guest services and they did not help. Completely blew us off. Also, came back to the room after being out all day long and although the room was cleaned, there was no toilet paper in the room. Housekeeping did not replace it.
