Cabana
This is our favorite spot in Mexico, i am attaching the Cabana Map since i had trouble finding one. The staff is always great and the drinks are amazing. My wife and i always get the all inclusive since we like to have drinks and eat at the resort. If you like to have a few drinks at the pool everyday you will get your money's worth.

Read the reviews and you will know what to expect, the good and the average. Lots of average
Read the reviews, look at the website and you'll get what you expect. The Good: beautiful views, very nice staff (minus front desk), comfortable & clean rooms, well maintained and clean grounds, good location to pop down to Cabo or up to Old Town San Jose, Vela Restaurant (more below). Los Arcos Coffee shop. Sotol lobby bar. The average: Early chair claimers, chairs around the main pool are pretty tight. Talavera, Lena, & Mio Restaurants . We had a room overlooking the main pool, late in the afternoon and early evening, our room was a bit loud. It did quiet down by 8 or 9pm. But the layout of the hotel (U shape) just bounces noises all around. The dislikes: cost of food and drink (expected), lack of Hilton status/benefits if not booked through Hilton (more below). Front staff was not very friendly, not very helpful and had to be remined to apply hotel credit to final bill. Adults only pool is tiny and cold More on the good:, the pool in front of the sushi restaurant has the best views on the property and is heated. For ~$150 rent a platform for the day. Vela Restaurant is by far the best on the property. The food, service, everything was great. The price is really no different that the others. Los Arcos Coffee Shop: $10 coffee but the breakfast burrito is amazing and cheap. Wife and I split one every day and it was plenty of breakfast for us. More on the average: Talavera Restaurant, the food was average at best. Service was ok. Prices high for what you get. I would skip this restaurant if others are open. Mio (Sushi) Restaurant: again just average. Got two rolls, decent price but flavor was not that great. Lena: good view, good service but average pool/beach bar hotel food. Burger was average at best. Nachos were ok Suggestions: Get an Uber and go to Merkato (10 minute ride), lots of food and drink choices, great atmosphere and sometimes live music Get an Uber and go to Old Town San Jose, tons of GREAT restaurants and shops To get an Uber, you have to walk outside the Hilton security gate, very easy. Uber will not pick you up inside but they can drop you off inside. Understand that if you are a Hilton member and book through an outside site (we got a great deal through one of our credit cards) you will not get your normal Hilton status benefits. This is the first Hilton that has not honored Hilton status even when booking through a partner credit card site. Overall, it was what we expected but we were quite disappointed in the quality of the food (expect for Vela and Los Arcos). We knew the food and drink prices were high but expected food quality to be in line with the price. We enjoyed our stay but would not return to this location. There are far too many other options in this area.

Where Service & Hospitality Outshines the Sun
The Hilton Los Cabos never disappoints ... We've been loyal guests for over fifteen years and it is our favorite hotel in Cabo. Perfectly situated on a beautiful beach (the corridor) between Los Cabos and San Jose if you have a hankering to see town ... but why leave the hotel? The rooms are spacious and immaculate, the ocean views endless, and the pools ... glorious. This trip, was a girlfriend's getaway, so we spent our time tethered to poolside lounge chairs at the adult pool, overlooking the ocean. The main pool, also an infinity pool also has sweeping views, and a swim up bar. The beach bar "La Lena" serves fantastic food ... we indulged in guacamole, ceviche, nachos, tacos, (not all in one sitting) and the only thing I missed was the delicious looking pizza made in the wood fired oven. Breakfast is NOT to be missed ... endless buffet of options ... be as healthy or as decadent as you like! And yes, I think we sampled it all! During the evening this spot becomes a lovely option for dinner ... and found if you had a hankering for something not on the menu (me, fajitas) they were happy to whip some up. The lobby bar has a great vibe, amazing cocktails and more great food! Yes, all of that is fantastic ... but what keeps us coming back and stands out the most? The SERVICE. The hospitality is second to no other resort I've stayed at. You have to meet Benita at breakfast ... she's been there over 17 years and seems like she knows every guest by name. And then our "pool butler", Andres, made the sunshine even brighter. His personality as big as his heart. And we also met Irvan (a server training to be a supervisor) ... When we were unable to decide where to go to dinner one night, he described each option at the resort with detailed descriptions of the menu offerings. I've never met a more knowledgable server ! It's really no surprise that ALL of the team members lead with heart, if you were to meet the General Manager Antonio Bugarin and the Executive Chef Mauricio ... you will quickly see where the hotel's commitment to service stems from. Yes, Cabo is always a good idea, and the Hilton makes it so!

Birthday Celebration
I celebrated my birthday on a cliffside cabana and Edgar and Ishmael were the Best, thanks. They were professional and festive. They made my day fun and recommended the best tequila. I will be back next year to celebrate my next birthday. Edgar and Ishmael were fun!!

Meh…
It was fine. Nothing extraordinary but also nothing catastrophic. Had to call to have the room made up two days. Service at the beach was inconsistent (forgotten parts of the order, food took over 45 minutes for a California roll, pizza was burnt but cold, asked for condiments or cups and not brought). Altamar was worth it for the airport transfers and happy hour each day. Beach was lovely, although rough waves, kids very much enjoyed playing there.
