Pros and cons
Pros and cons to the hotel. The location, views, and ocean are hard to beat. Pros: -Beautiful views. You get to watch the sunrise every morning over the ocean. The swimmable cove was a hit with the kids. We all did some snorkeling there and saw lots of great fish. You can even see whales going by. -The infinity pools were great -Restaurant staff and valet were very nice. Breakfast buffet was very good. Cons: -The Hilton airport shuttle was 10-15 mins late picking us up from airport. Might not seem like a lot, but after a long flight you expect your shuttle to be waiting…especially when you are paying $200 for it. -Upon checking, it took one in-person request and 2 more phone calls to finally get a roll away bed to our room -Phones were regularly backed up and couldn’t get ahold of help for 10-15 mins at a time -Hotel policy of only 2 water bottles per day per room and I did not notice any water stations around the hotel. They charge a lot for additional bottled water. Plan to stock up. When we ordered room service, believe it or not, they didn’t bring us any water with our meal and refused to when I asked. Access to water is scarce at hotel. -Room service food is not as good as their restaurant food offered. Half of my family passed on the food delivered to go order again at the restaurant. -Room TVs should offer more channels in English or at least connect to Netflix. -Rooms are dated and do need a refresh.

Hard to go somewhere else that is as good as this resort!!
We just came home from 2 back to back trips to the Hilton in the last 2 months. We love this place so much because of the way you are treated by the employees!! From the minute you pull up Zarcos, aka as Carlos is one of the many great bellman to greet you and assist with your luggage. Then, they offer you a margarita when you are checking in. When you are relaxing at the pool the staff there is incredible. I will name a few of my friends who I have known for years. They remember everything we like to eat and drink and where we like to sit by the pool. Please ask for Jorge aka George of the Jungle, Diego, Arturo, Carlos and Christian at the restaurant. There are too many to mention but Jesus the pool manager has made us feel so welcomed and appreciated for our loyalty! The resort is comfortable and very clean. The pool loungers are very comfortable with pads and there is an adult pool also to enjoy. Restaurants are great and there is a swimmable beach with activities. We are addicted to this resort because of the service! Hard to go anywhere else...... You will totally enjoy your stay!!!

A wonderful visit in December.
A good friend and I spent 2 nights at this resort. The staff, absolutely everyone we encountered, was professional and lovely. The setting on the water was beautiful and the ocean front was expansive. The rooms are a bit dated, but the staff and the surrounding property make up for it.

Hilton Los Cabos 60th Birthday Celebration
We were so blessed to celebrate my 60th birthday at Hilton Los Cabos. First of the all the staff are amazing! They were so helpful and very detail oriented from the start! The location is beautiful with a walking/swimmable beach and our plunge pool room was so amazing. The party setup was like a fairytale and all the people we worked with (photographer and DJ) were fantastic. Then their attention to all of our food allergies including nuts and gluten was beyond helpful. Will tell all my friends and family to vacation and have special celebrations at the Hilton Los Cabos for sure.

Complete rip off
My wife and I come here for vacation. The room is clean and comfortable. The view is great, but the sunlight is gone from the pools after 3pm because of the layout. Pool water temperature is hit or miss, and the staff weren’t willing to fix it for some reason. The food is very delicious and high quality. The hotel staff do a great job in general, and are attentive. The hotel is well maintained. However, while free amenities are nice, the amenities for a fee are crazy expensive. I mean, CRAZY. And I come from San Francisco, where everything is very expensive ¯_(ツ)_/¯ The food/drinks are way more expensive than New York City. Starbucks starts at USD6. Bottled water starts at USD5 for 400ml. Breakfast/lunch can easily be close to USD100 for two. Restaurants don’t provide free water. The meal plan is USD242 per day per guest for 3 nights minimum, and only includes cheap drinks. The meal plan has lots other restrictions, not clearly stated, and you have to ask. For example, it only includes 400ml bottled water, not the big 1.5L bottles. This is how cheap the hotel is. It makes us feel the hotel is trying to rip us off for every penny. It's quite uncomfortable. Never had such experiences at a resort. Front desk experience is meh. Check-in was warm at best. At checkout, they messed up the folio twice and overcharged us. Stood and waited at the counter for another 10 mins before they fixed it for us. They also charged us tips that we did not agree to pay. We did not feel welcome as we did at other 5 star resorts. Service quality also varies a lot. Staff is great, but it seems their processes are poor. On different days, you might just have different experiences. But to be clear, the staff really try their best. I think the problem is the management and the training, as it normally is. If you don't care about money AT ALL and you are okay with inconsistent quality of service, this is a great resort for you because the food quality and the view are great. Otherwise, do your research before you book this resort.
