Average Transit Hotel at Best
Well first and foremost this is strictly a transit hotel, even as a mainline Hilton. Unlike some other airport properties, including Hilton, it is in no way shape or form a resort property, a palm tree or two notwithstanding. With that said, it mostly fits the bill -- complimentary airport shuttle for short ride to LAX; convenient to local highways, plenty of Ubers in the area. Beyond that? positives: staff friendly/helpful; clean room and public areas. negatives: no food offered other than a "grab-and-go" in a corner except a pub menu, but only after 5pm. When we asked at 3pm where we could get a sit-down meal, it was suggested we walk across a busy road to a Denny's. (odd given folks fly-in from all manner of time zones, some hungry even...). Our Diamond upgrade room was in dire need of renovation/upgrade (80s look/feel); I had asked for one with a good view of the runways (being something of a plane spotter) -- hotel has whole wing overlooking LAX, but was instead given a room with most of airport view blocked by the hotel wing that did overlook the runways. (what sort of room would we have received if not "upgraded'). Average transit hotel before a trip elsewhere.

Service
My server for breakfast (Raquel) was very nice & helpful. Customer service was fantastic. Lovely experience. The food was also really good. Buffet style breakfast, different options to choose from along with different drinks. Very classy setting.

Avoid at all costs!
This place is falling apart. It smells heavily of mold and water is dropping from the ceiling. Avoid at all costs, no matter how good of a deal it seems for A Hilton. The wall paper is peeling off the walls in the room and the phone doesn't even work.

Great Service!
I had an amazing time at the bar at the Hilton, thanks to the incredible service from JJ, Mariana, and Cruz. They were all phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and truly went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. From expertly crafted drinks to great conversation and top-notch hospitality, they made the night special. If you’re looking for a great spot to unwind with excellent service, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!
