Awesome ocean front hotel
Our six-day stay at the hotel was outstanding! The variety of restaurants offered delicious dishes that impressed both in taste and presentation. Service was impeccable, with staff who were gracious and attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. Sunbathing booths by the pool and beach were ideal for relaxation under the sun. Our ocean view room provided stunning vistas, enhancing our mornings and evenings with the sound of waves and gorgeous sunrises. In summary, this hotel perfectly blends luxury, excellent dining, and top-notch service.

Magical - Sunan restaurant was amazing
Senõr Nunez was absolutely amazing at Sunan restaurant. Out stay has been magical. So happy we were able to have Nunez as our waiter for the weekend. The food is wonderful and staff amazing. I highly recommend eating here when you come to stay at the beautiful resort.

Too many negatives to outweigh the positives. Will not be returning.
To start we have been Hilton Diamond members for numerous years and have stayed at numerous all inclusive resorts over the years. Unfortunately this resort did not live up to the Hilton name or quality we have grown to expect. We arrived at Hilton Cancun on December 25th with our 2 adult children for a family vacation. It started out well and even though our rooms were not ready we were able to explore the resort and get some food. However, when are rooms were ready we discovered that the toilet in one for the rooms was not functioning. We called the front desk and they sent someone up within an hour. The repair individual did a few things and then said it was all fixed. But within a few hours it stopped flushing again. It took 3 phone calls and talking to the manager on duty to get someone back up to our room to repair the toilet. Unfortunately it became an ongoing issue throughout our stay with us having to have someone come to the room numerous times. Every time we were told it was fixed for the issue to occur again. This is not the only reason for the poor rating. Other issues included not having enough pool/beach chairs for the number of guests that were staying at the resort. We opted to rent a cabana for 3 of the days we were there in order to not have to fight for lodge chairs. Also even though the website claims that rooms would be restocked daily with drinks and snacks, a couple days this did not occur. Needless to stay we will not be returning to Hilton Cancun. However our stay was not all negative. There were several staff members that stood out and helped make our stay better. - Angel at the lobby bar was awesome and we enjoyed hanging out with him especially during futbol games. He remembered our names and always smiling. - Salvador at La Luce during breakfast. He was phenomenal and we decided to only eat breakfast at La Luce because he took such good care of us even sharing recipes with my husband. - Elvis at Auma. He was very attentive throughout dinner and did an outstanding job.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Hotel Experience was 10/10. The food, the service, the pools, the rooms, the bellboys, the cleaning maids - everything was top notch. Humberto from the Taco restaurant was the best server I’ve ever had. He was so attentive and caring, and knew our go-to drinks by the end of our trip. He made our experience so much better.

Unpleasant Experience at Hilton Cancun – Not Suitable for Families with Young Children*
Our stay at the Hilton Cancun started off promising, with the first few nights being quite pleasant. The resort initially seemed like a great choice for families with children, offering an array of amenities and activities that appeared family-friendly. However, this all changed drastically as the resort suddenly hosted a large group of construction workers, booking 500 rooms according to the concierge. From that point on, the resort was entirely ill-equipped to handle such a large influx of guests, and our experience quickly turned sour. First, the dining situation became untenable. We could not get a table at the buffet, and when we finally did manage to secure one, the food was unavailable. The quality of the meals declined sharply, with the food seeming rushed and thrown together, in stark contrast to the first few days of our stay when the offerings were decent. The resort clearly couldn't cope with the massive influx of people, so we ended up having to leave the property regularly to dine at local restaurants in the town, which was a major inconvenience. The resort's amenities, including the lobby, pools, bars, and restaurants, were also overcrowded and difficult to enjoy. The lobby was packed in the evenings, making it impossible to relax or sit comfortably. The pools and bars were taken over by rowdy crowds. They resembled a college spring break group, who drank excessively, smoked, and vaped everywhere. We even witnessed vaping and smoking in areas where children were playing, including around the pool and on the beach. When we brought this issue to the attention of management, particularly regarding the vaping and smoking around our children, they were completely ineffective in addressing the matter. We had the chance to meet the regional manager, "Felix", who happened to be on-site during our stay. We expressed our concerns about the chaotic environment, the lack of safety and comfort, and the need to constantly leave the resort to find peace and a safe place for our children to eat and play. Unfortunately, our concerns were met with indifference, and nothing changed. Given our experience, we cannot recommend the Hilton Cancun to families with small children. There are many other family-friendly hotels in Cancun that prioritize the safety and well-being of young guests. Hilton Cancun, unfortunately, does not meet these standards, and we will not be returning.
