Voyage fin avril

Great vacation place ! 🌴
Morning yoga by the Beach with Travis is THE BEST !!!!!!!! Winston Military trainings are really efficient and fun too ! We all enjoyed it !!! The food is really good except for the Score Sports bar, where there’s 6 people who are supposed to be working, but only one seem to work and the service is extremely slow. The beach is nice, there’s a lack of shaded chairs at the hideaway side. Theres no liquor in the room as advertised on the pictures, no bath either. Be careful what photos you look at ! ☺️ Great place in general ! I would say more of a 4-4.5 star ⭐️ instead of a 5 ! If you want smoked salmon in the morning go to the buffet early. 🍣 ENJOOOOYYYYY !!!! 🥰

Better then expected, and a truly beautiful location
We just returned from a stay at the Hideaway, traveling as a group of four couples. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed our experience. Positives: The resort is in a beautiful location, not far from Montego Bay Airport, making for a convenient arrival. The grounds were clean and well-kept, and our ocean view room was both nice and spotless, with a stunning view. The beach was amazing, and we spent a lot of time relaxing by the pool, which was also well-maintained. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The food exceeded expectations for an all inclusive and the drinks were consistently good. Negatives: Only one of the two elevators was working during our stay, and there didn’t seem to be any effort to repair the other, which was inconvenient at times. While there were plenty of bartenders, there was a noticeable shortage of blenders, which was surprising for a tropical resort known for frozen cocktails. Another point to note is that the family resort is right next door, and they share some of the restaurants and entertainment. This means you’ll see kids around, and much of the entertainment was geared toward families—though it wasn’t a major issue for us. And they would run out of towels from time to time, but not for long. Summary: Despite a few minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The resort is beautiful, the service was great, and we would definitely consider returning.

Another Wonderful Royalton Experience!
I have stayed at the Royalton several times, and just keep going back because it's so awesome! This time my husband and I chose to stay at Hideaway so that we would have access to the adult only restaurants. Most of them are open to the whole resort, but two of them are Hideaway only. Our wonderful butlers, Jody Ann and Sanoy managed to get us in to every restaurant that we wanted. My favourite was Armadillo, and my husband's was Dorado. He said the sea bass was so good, he would have ordered another if he hadn't been full! The others were all very good too. At Zen, we were lucky enough to have Tristan as our chef. He was funny, talented, and an excellent cook. Another favourite was Rajay at Calypso. Very nice and efficient young man. My very favourite though, was Donique at the main buffet. She made omelets in the morning. She was friendly, efficient, polite, and had the biggest smile constantly! I was very impressed with her, as I never saw her smile falter. We are not pool people, so I can't speak for the pools at all. We spent all our time on the Diamond Club beach in those awesome bali beds! MayDean and Sonya kept us hydrated throughout the week. Very friendly ladies. We were in room 601, which is a junior suite at the end of the main building. It was very roomy and comfortable, with a huge bathroom area. It was set up kind of odd, as the toilet room was at the farthest end of the long bathroom, which also included the closets, double sinks/long counter, jetted tub and shower. Our housekeepers were Keva and Julecia, and they kept our room sparkling clean every day, and also made towel art. We did encounter kids on the DC beach, but that is because it is shared with the family side. My husband is an early riser, so he claimed our bali bed around 7:00 am. At this time of year, we found that there was still lots of room on our beach even at noon. Of course there were kids in the main buffet, but Hideaway has their own smaller buffet, so if you're trying to avoid kids, that's where you would go. We went to the restaurants at 6;45 each day (except Zen, which was 7:30), and we didn't see any kids in any of the restaurants at that time. We don't mind seeing kids, but I just wanted to mention this for those who don't want to see kids all the time. The staff in general were all very friendly and helpful. Always said hello and asked if we were good. I honestly don't know how anyone can say that they were rude or lazy, or would only do anything for a great tip. We are okay tippers, but not extravagant, and we had wonderful service all the way. Our butlers Jody Ann and Sanoy!!! They were both so awesome and friendly. They checked on us at least once a day, and brought us pizza on the beach when requested, and generally were available at all the times we needed them. I can't say enough good things about these two special ladies! Thank you both for making our stay even more amazing! We will definitely return, and can't wait for that to happen! Thank you KAQC
