    Great au naturel vacation

This was a really nice, relaxing, au natural vacation for us. Definitely one of the best things about the resort was the outstanding staff -Arnulfo, David, Angel, Aniceto, Nathaniel -everyone was so warm and welcoming. Service was always gracious and never ever creepy or uncomfortable. The wait staff, bartenders and activity hosts learned our names quickly, took note of what we liked, and were always quick to greet us with a smile and hug (when we had clothes on!). They made us many special off menu items throughout the week-espresso affogatos with coconut ice cream, quesadillas with veggies plenty of salsa picante and guacamole (i am vegetarian,) fruit slushies without alcohol, etc. Especially noteworthy, too , are the cleaning staff. Graciela kept our room super clean and fresh. The public spaces were always spotless. The bathrooms seemed like they were cleaned between every person -really impressive! We were barefoot everywhere at the resort -by the pool, by the beach, in the restaurant, on the stairs, in the disco -and never worried about cutting our feet or stepping on anything yucky. There were several low key resort activities every day - pool volleyball, water aerobics, crafts, tequila tasting. There were also really talented musicians who performed several afternoons and several evenings. We were really impressed by the quality of the musicians for such a small resort! Another thing that really stands apart from other naturist resorts we have been to was the live music or DJ every night in the moonlight lounge. It was very fun to dance, sing karaoke, listen to live bands and have a DJ every single night. They even had a few performances - acrobatics one night and our favorite, Glow in the dark body paint on us done by professionals followed by a really good dance performance (them) and dancing to a DJ (us). All entertainment way exceeded our expectations for such a small place. We met some really nice couples there and enjoyed the total nude experience within the walls of the resort. Things which were less great were for a few days, there was a group which was much more wild, noisy, seemed to be swingers, and disturbed the chill vibe for me. Water pressure was low in our shower most days and a few times there was no hot water and even no water at all once. On the last night, our room smelled terribly of smoke. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone to check the area, but we never heard back. I guess it was a fire in the jungle? It was unsettling that the room could be full of smoke and no smoke alarm would go off. Another thing that was tough for me personally was the food. There are not many vegetarian options with protein other than at breakfast. The resort was very pricey to us, but we liked that it was all inclusive and all nude (and easy for us to get to.) Probably to some extent you are paying for the exclusivity of the place and the highly trained staff who never made us feel anything other than comfortable and accepted while we frolicked around without clothes. We had thought it was fully all inclusive, so didn't plan to tip. We saw more people tipping than not, though, so felt a bit weird that we did not bring cash and were not tipping. We hope the staff still knew that we appreciated them without the cash tips. We will probably be back (with a supply of protein bars for me!) because it was so easy and comfortable. We will be hoping for specials, though, so our budget covers tips as well   Arnulfo, David, Angel, super clean public bathroom, clean rooms and extremely comfortable bed, Marta's quesadillas, Aniceto, Nathanel , really great entertainment some nights, great vibe conducive to relaxation, great live music, easy to get to from Seattle

    Peace of mind

It is a small hotel but we liked that there were not so many people plus everyone has been very friendly, very respectful and the hotel is very quiet. The attention of the staff is remarkable for the attention and kindness; thanks to Fernanda, Carlos and Maria who were very attentive at all times

    Holiday

First time here trying something new and facing us that is so discreet, the facilities are fine and it is a very small hotel that makes it perfect; we liked that the other guests were very friendly and respectful. But the staff is exceptional. We thank Fernanda, Maria, Carlos and Luis for making it Memorable

    Fantastic!

If I could rate higher than excellent, I would. The word that comes to mind is….Superb! The staff makes you feel special and their attention to detail far surpassed anything my wife and I have ever experienced. I simply cannot find the right words to express how delighted we are!

    Great place

We vacation here yearly, and it is our favorite place. For those who have not experienced clothing optional, it is the perfect place to start. Everyone is friendly, comfortable and no judging. For those "experienced" nudists, note that there is no PDA permitted, and that it is enforced. The age group trends older, but there are always some younger couples as well. The food is great. Different menu nightly, incorporating the menus of the textile restaurants on the "dark side". So you never need to leave unless you enjoy getting dressed up to eat. Martha is absolutely wonderful, friendly, the best cook ever, making fantastic tacos, quesadillas at breakfast, and meats on the grill at lunch. The waiters are amazing, service incredible. Arnulfo, Angel, Aniceto, Noel, Isiah work very hard to be sure you have everything you need at breakfast and lunch. Always a choice of buffet or menu order. Dinner, Galdino, and Ricardo are great. Ricardo always remembers to bring us Baileys and coffee, even at the Gala Dinner, and Mexican night . The bar....well we must have Pedro back for afternoon volleyball. The bartenders there now can make drinks well, but Pedro has a special talent in handling requests for 20 mini beers in between games. They are ready quickly and efficiently and with a smile. Same with handling all the drink orders coming in at once. And probably the biggest thing, when the ball goes flying into the bar, he retrieves it with a smile, and has that tequila shot ready for the offender, causing only a brief delay in the game. He knows exactly what to do and gets it done. Why they stuck him in the Moonlight is beyond my comprehension. We really need him back. I must give praises now to Esperanza. She is amazing, bringing drinks to everyone at chairs, cabanas, and even at swim up rooms. She must walk miles daily, and also makes drinks as well during busy bar times. Activities, are well organized by Carlos and Fernanda. The main and best attended is pool volleyball twice a day. The new rules have been helpful in preventing aggressive play and seem to be preventing the injuries that were happening previously. Carlos and Fernanda do their best to control aggressive play to keep the games fun and open to all abilities. The entertainment, could be improved. There are a couple of good rock bands. There are way too many acrobats. There are acrobat Katrinas, acrobat glow night people, circus acrobats, even Gala acrobats. Enough with the acrobats. Karaoke is always a fun time. The tenors I personally don't enjoy and we go to the dark side when they perform. But many people like them, so its what you like. They are very loud and can be heard throughout the resort as well as next door. The rooms are large, a bit dated. The beds are very comfortable. Most rooms do not have balconies, a serious design flaw. The furniture is dated, but in good condition. The lighting has been improved, but the rooms still need more lighting at night. The bathroom is nicely designed, double sinks, makeup mirror, separate toilet and separate shower. The water in shower, however, does not keep an even temperature, suddenly turning cold, then hot. Air conditioner works very well, and the windows actually open. Overall an exceptional place. We will return 2 more times this year.
