Apr 03, 2025Nice place to stop in tiny Hana town!
Really nice big room. No A/C (but that is normal in Hawaii). Big property with pools. tennis courts, a wellness center and more. Enjoyed the yoga class in the morning overlooking the ocean! Not sure why the breakfast dining area isnt used for lunch and dinner-- Nice hotel to stop at in the tiny Hana town!

Perfect Location, Great Amenities: Our Hana Retreat Experience
A beautiful retreat in Hana. The resort's perfect location offers a short walk to food trucks, restaurants, church, beach, and grocery stores. We enjoyed the surprising amenities: basketball courts, tennis, golf, yoga classes, and a great gym. The two pools were nice, though we missed having a hot tub for evening relaxation. Nearby grocery stores are quite expensive, and without cooking facilities in our rooms, dining options were limited. Overall, this was a great mid-point stay on the Road to Hana journey.

Our Oceanfront bungalow stay was spectacular! Watching the sunrise AND the moon rise off the ocean from bed, couch, and deck jacuzzi was worth every dime!!! The kindness of the staff, beautiful grounds, amazing amenities. I only wish it was in the plan to stay longer.

Soundproofing of the room: rental of a bungalow with sea view but in fact it is shared with a group of young people who have a boozy evening. I didn’t sleep until 2:00. It is not a bungalow but a room in a bungalow. The shade is great! Outside the cooled bungalows, The "restaurant" is far away, you have to take the car , looks like a country pub and not a resort restaurant , no room indoors despite reservation we ate in the cold wind and rain. Pool bar closed at 5pm Breakfast buffet and served in the bar area: lots of waiting, plate service from another time. Room far from everything, again you have to take the car. Very poor value for money. It is unacceptable not to sleep at that price. Infrastructure all outside and remote: very ill thought for a hotel in a city where it rains all the time.

Old Hawaii at its BEST
The Hana Maui Resort is amazing. The location, the resort, and the people working there are all top notch. The bungalows are so special and on such a beautiful cove. The mochiko pancakes were amazing for breakfast Worth the Hana Highway drive to stay here.
