Great stay
Just had to say a big thank you for the great hospitality shown by Alexandra,Fay & Sheena greeted with a great friendly welcome on arrival, a phone call to check if everything was okay with my room, whilst through out my stay been super helpful and polite and accommodating, huge thank you to the ladies and all the team. Thank you for a wonderful stay, will be back at the next opportunity. Take care Regards Derek

Friendly Staff, But Bad Safety Issue Ruined the Stay
We stayed at Hampton by Hilton Birmingham Jewellery Quarter in May 2025. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout. When we reported that the AC in our room wasn’t working, they responded promptly and moved us to another room without any hassle. Based on service alone, we would have rated the stay 4 out of 5. Unfortunately, a serious safety issue occurred that overshadowed the entire experience. While showering, a wall-mounted dispenser suddenly fell and struck my foot, causing bruising and bleeding. Shockingly, the same thing happened to my wife, landed on the side of her toes. These were not isolated incidents—they point to a clear maintenance issue. We’ve reported the incident to the hotel’s general manager. Guests should be cautious, and I’d be very interested to hear if any previous guests reading this has experienced something similar. Because of this, we can only give 1 star.

Wonderful Staff, Accommodation is OK
The location of the hotel just outside of the city Centre means that it provides good value for money. The staff checking in were wonderful and very welcoming. The room itself was large and had a decent bathroom, but I personally found the bed and pillows not particularly comfortable. That may just be personal preference. I was a bit disappointed that the Aircon wasn’t very effective and found the room a bit too warm for my liking but again that might just be personal preference. There were a couple of items missed by housekeeping on the first night but nothing major, and it was a bit annoying that there was no safe available. I found the breakfast fairly poor and stayed away from the cooked items on the second morning as the heat lamps seem to be turned up too high making everything very dry and crispy. I would stay here again however, and it is very convenient for the tram stop.

Much smaller rooms than is normal for the brand,
I’ll preface by stating we are Hilton Diamond members and I rarely review their properties. However this was disappointing enough in ways that have nothing to do with management that I had to speak up. A typical room with a single bed for the brand is a King / this is a Queen. There is no room to open two carry on bags, we have to take turns. No minifridge. No luggage rack. No complimentary water for Diamond members (the one thing management had control over). Oh, the body lotion is in the shower and the hair conditioner is next to the sink! 🤷🏼♀️ I will likely never be back to Birmingham UK but you are forewarned what to expect.

Great staff, clean and professional hotel
Faye and the front desk staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly, helpful and pleasant to be around. Really looking forward to staying here again and can say that this will be my first choice when visiting Birmingham again. I had no issues here at all, super clean too.
