  • House Without a Key

    Immortalized in a 1925 Charlie Chan novel, House Without A Key is Halekulani's popular indoor/outdoor gathering spot for informal breakfast, lunch, cocktails, appetizers and entertainment, and offers a fresh option for evening dining in Waikiki. One of the favored traditions of the original Halekulani — cocktails and Hawaiian music under the century-old Kiawe tree — is faithfully preserved here.

    As one of the best restaurants in Waikiki, House Without A Key is known for its signature mai tai, a classic to be enjoyed any time of the day.

  • La Mer
    Dinner only. The only restaurant in Hawaii to receive the coveted AAA Five Diamond (Restaurant) Award, La Mer features Neoclassic French cuisine. With the ever-present sound of waves washing up on the shores of Waikiki, dining at the elegant ocean-side La Mer is an experience of superb taste and impeccable service. Long sleeved collared dress shirts or jackets are required for gentlemen.

    L’Aperitif at La Mer brings signature cocktails to our 5 Diamond Restaurant. The result is one of the best bars in Honolulu for a refined, elegant experience.     Unique among Waikiki bars, our hotel’s Honolulu lounge is the perfect place for early evening or after-dinner drinks. Head Barman Colin Field, long recognized as “Best Barman in the World” by Forbes has conceived several cocktails on the elegant Digestif menu exclusively for Halekulani.

    Amazing hotel and experience

    Wife and I spent a week here for our 10 year wedding anniversary and fell in love instantly with the hotel. From check in to check out the hotel, staff, accommodations, restaurants, amazing room, and everything was just perfect! We will definitely be returning again! Zero complaints 👌🏽 top notch

    Again and again

    Aloha. We are very satisfied, since 1990, repeat guests of the Halekulani Hotel, our recent trip was just the same level of kindness, care, and old world Hawaiian hospitality. We stayed three nights and dined off property at the lady & the pig in Chinatown, and Podmore in downtown via Dede at Concierge, who also arranged divine in room flowers from Tomoko the Halekulani Hotel florist. We attended Sunday Brunch at the Orchid and all agreed it was the best and most expansive old English and Japanese buffet. Amazing! As all ways our last night is at the House without a Key for enchantment, music and Hula! We shall return, again, and gain. Mahalo

    Truly a 5 star hotel!

    After being here for a week, my daughter and I are so sad that we are leaving the Halekulani today. This may have been one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. The staff here are amazing - many of them knew us by name by the 2nd day. The pool attendees were great with always assisting us with finding the perfect spot to lounge poolside. And my daughter loved the popsicles that came around every afternoon. Dining at Orchids was a highlight for breakfast and dinner. And housekeeping staff is elite! We loved the little surprise gifts they’d leave us as turndown service. We cannot wait to return! Well done, Halekulani!

    Exceptional Service at Halekulani: Clean Rooms, Great Dining, Prime Location

    Stellar staff, from concierge (email them) to housekeeping, great restaurants and cute li’l beach. Laundry service was so good, turndown brings you various gift items periodically. Orchids and Le Mer both great. House without a key informal and excellent service. Royal hawaiian center has a ton of japanese restaurants, 700ft away. Room and balcony are clean and nice. Was initially annoyed by the lack of privacy on the balcony, got over it quickly. Still here, and will be back.

    Great Hotel in Honolulu

    This is an outstanding 5 star hotel. Everything is impeccable. Huge pool, views of Diamond Head, Wonderful flower arrangemennts, but it is the staff who make this a special place. Rising ocean has reduced their beach as well as Waikiki Beach but the location is still terrific.
